UEFA qualifying draws today for third round of Champions and Europa Leagues. Interested to see who Salzburg get, Lyon, Zenit, Eindhoven, Metalist and Fenerbace possible. Salzburg have put together a rather good squad, if they were in the Champions" draw rather than the runner-ups it would hard to see them not finally making it to the CL group stage. As it is they'll probably have to settle for Europa League again.

City have bought some good players, it will be interesting to see how they do in the new season.

Looks like Tito will be resigning as Barca manager after another bout of throat cancer.

    Sad news for the guy.

Here's hoping AVB is chosen as next manager, paving the way for a Bale exit. Oh yeah!

Sad for Tito, Guardiola had faith in him and the team clearly like him. Hopefully he can get over his health issues and come back to management.

Not sure who is frontrunner for that job, maybe one of his staff

Benteke re-ups at Villa. That's a huge boost for Paul Lambert.

Odd to go from a transfer request to a four year extension

Barcelona is falling apart, I just love watching this all unravel. Of course I wish for Tito to get better, no one should go through that ever.

In other news, I have transferred from Sky Broadband to BT Infinity for a measly £2.96 extra per month, and in doing so have obtained BT Sport for FREE. FREE I say!

I have also ditched Sky but have ditched the TV and moved to Virgin.

I now have sports when I didn't previously and I am paying £60 less than previous as well!

Yeah I ditched Sky TV awhile ago, but just kept their broadband until recently. Infinity is going to be about 6 times as quick, plus I get free sports, so it was a no brainer really.

Thinking ill probably pay £4.99 per mon for the Sky Sports app and just watch stuff on my ipad this season. Streams really started annoying me last year.

I've had BT Infinity a long time, never seems to be any quicker than what I had before but maybe that's just me.

I'm OK with just seeing MOTD highlights on BBC and CL on ITV

Rumors of Shinji Kagawa returning to Dortmund are picking up steam in Germany, with the player and club both having indicated they'd be open to it.

Gerardo 'Tata' Martino is the new coach of Barcelona... who?

His wiki page is three paragraphs big, five if you count the introduction.

Well, Rooney will have to stay if Kagawa goes since no-one else can play in that position.

But he had an OK first season given he was injured for some of it so I say give him game time and see what he can do. If he doesn't do much then Dortmund can have him back.

Neither is Cesc by the looks of things.

Still need a decent defensive midfielder & probably one good attacking midfielder, so Moyes ought to be looking around somewhere else if he wants to be ready for the start of the new season.
The current midfield won't cut it against the likes of City & Chelsea this time around.

He's obviously been chosen for his name. The new and improved Tiki-Taka will be called Tata-Tiki-Taka. It's genius, realy.

Bale has apparently agreed to terms with Real. No agreement with Spurs yet.

So much for staying at Spurs.
If he really wants Champions League I don't know why he doesn't just sign for one of the Top 4 EPL sides.

Although, Bale & Ronaldo together is a real FIFA 13 type of fantasy and would scare the hell out of any opposing team.

Interesting article I found on United's young players and why they can be the future instead of forking out for someone like Fabregas.

Also, LOL @ Arsenal for bidding £40,000,001 for Suarez

Wenger has denied Arsenal made the £40m + £1 offer for Suarez. the £1 was for Downing.

Just another example of players being overvalued when sale or potential sale is between two English clubs.
