I refer to my previous statement.

More solid defenders are needed against pacey teams, not an inexperienced kid & some average CB.
Blind is a makeshift DM, and taking off Di Maria is not helpful when you need two goals.

Liverpool at least can say they are missing players, United have enough back now that this should not happen.
It's a front heavy team, opposite of last season

When Everton trounce / scrape past Crystal Palace, then I shall take pleasure in United's defeat.

EDIT: Di Maria only came off because Mata's too big a cheese to remain on the bench. It was a substitution borne of obligation rather than common sense.

Doesn't seem like City will. Their lineup is not as strong as Chelsea's. But you never know these days.

United need to string wins together, especially when top 4 contenders like Liverpool also lose & a big match like Chelsea-City is happening where one side may drop points.

At least with Blackett sent off it means Shaw should debut next week.

Oh, wait. Tottenham lost, too. Makes beating Palace practically a necessity.

Balotelli didn't exactly do much for Liverpool yesterday, but that doesn't excuse racism towards him. Hopefully all those people get banned, both from twitter & United games if they are ticket holders (or whatever other team they support).

    Terrible.

I'd be happy with a draw against City. They have been underachieving, but are still incredibly talented with Aguero and Dzeko attacking the top.

Still confused as to how investing heavily in attack & midfield didn't sort out our defensive problems

Because LVG bought 3 left sided defenders & none for the right. And he didn't get a defensive midfielder, he got Falcao on loan instead. Outscoring the other side is fine, but not when you hand them two penalties to allow them back into the game when you are two goals ahead.

Thank you - now I don't have to listen to NBC's **** commentators, and can hear the great Martin Tyler.

Very odd. City is playing excellent football, just suffocating us at the moment.

Still not rating Willian. Far too selfish on the ball.

Feels like a loss. Lampard the greatest.

Schurrle will not be starting anytime soon. I hope Mou rips him.
