I'm looking forward to seeing Big Sam lead his troops into the CL next season.

He had a proper Torres miss, lucky he didn't cost even half as much.
Liverpool like United look suspect at the back. I'd worry about either side playing against any of Europe's top sides given how badly they defend.
United do have a very good attack though, and that may prove to be the difference in the end.

QPR played very well, if they can keep up that level consistently they should get out of trouble. Seems like a big if though

Not sure why United keep playing the same way when it doesn't work.
The defence is clearly ****, so why leave it so exposed? Everyone goes forward and creates big spaces for the opposition to run into

    Sort of.

Going to get battered by Chelsea if serious improvements are not made

probably a risk playing Carrick after being out for so long, but if he proved his fitness, it would be tempting to play both Carrick and Blind, and move Herrera forward to replace Mata. just for some additional support for the defence.

You need to field a defence before you can support it.

The defenders themselves aren't bad, but they do need cover as well as someone to enforce them. Maybe it's partly to do with Rojos lack of English, but if he doesn't understand than someone like Blind should be back there saying "you go/stay there". Blind is in the end a defender who plays in midfield. If Shaw gets caught out in possession, it is he who should go back and fill the gap while Rojo moves out wide.
Liverpool have a similar problem, because they don't have a proper DM & whoever they field to act as one doesn't protect well enough.

It's no surprise the two teams at the top of the table are the ones with proper midfield enforcers

United's problem this season, I reckon, will be the same one that Tottenham had last season. A lot of new players and no time to gel them. You need time to get a squad with lots of fresh blood working together - no matter how good the players involved or the manager is.

Bayern annihilating Roma in Rome, 0-5 at the half. Reminiscent of #BRAGER. Robbed with a monster game so far.

Hate to lose Remy in this mismatch. Need another striker in January, no way around it.
