Jan is for buying more defenders. The current lot in midfield should be able to pass the ball around far more competently than they are. Mata, Herrera & Di Maria were brought in for that purpose.

I wonder why Januzaj hasn't been played for last couple of weeks.

Enjoy your time with Hal, epic. No Vaseline required with that one!

Why did Liverpool use this keeper? He was terrible.

Rodgers has made a lot of very strange tactical decisions recently.
I wouldn't advocate sacking the guy though, he's doing a wonderful job at the moment :p

One thing to keep in mind about van Gaal, he actually got off to a fairly slow start at Bayern, they didn't move into first place in the league until February or March (Leverkusen had a great run with Heynckes at the helm and Toni Kroos). The season was mainly considered a success because of their Champions League run, which was somewhat fortunate.

United will get better once the injuries stop and they can play several games in a row with the same 11

    The Champions League draw:

Started out with City-Barca and PSG-Chelsea, looked like it was going to be nothing but rematches. But then things got interesting. Arsenal with an incredible bit of luck to get Monaco. Real and Bayern to crush their opponents. Leverkusen-Atletico could actually be quite good, or a blow out. And Juve-Dortmund the best match-up of the round.

I don't think it's so bad for you guys: Chelsea is stronger than they were last year (especially if Diego Costa is healthy) and PSG aren't quite as strong. Not the easiest draw in the bunch for sure, but certainly a manageable one.

It's the hardest one we could have got. At least we have home advantage in the 2nd leg

Arsenal may even get past the round of sixteen for once. UNless they bottle it even more than usual.

For all their weaknesses, Arsenal generally beat the teams they should beat. I think they'll actually get through. Monaco are dreadful, basically parked the bus for 6 matches and got lucky twice against Leverkusen.

Anfield is being redeveloped, and yesterday the oldest part of the ground - the main stand car park wall came down. It's been up since Everton called Anfield home.
