Not sure which was the worst managerial appointment this season. Newcastle's Carver or Wigan's Malky Mckay.

I'd say McKay. Racist, sexist, yeah, let's give him a job! Carver was just an interim manager anyway right? Love how stupid the Newcastle fans are though.

You've only been proven right by how crap Liverpool have been of late though. You're 7 behind and have dropped 5 in the last 2 games, so could have been well within contention. Unless you predicted 5 points dropped against WBA and Hull?

I said top four was gone, I didn't predict points from any games. You insisted it was still on. Which of us is hard of thinking?

If you were only 2 points behind with 4 games to go, then top 4 would not have been gone. i'm a bit of a pessimist too, but hey, it's sport, you may as well retain hope!!!

Although not now. Liverpool are definitely screwed now.

The funny thing is, they beat Leverkusen on penalties the previous round, hitting all of theirs perfectly in a real clinic.

Remember when they lost to Chelsea, they had been flawless the round previously against Real. Sorry what a crap shoot it is. Once Lahm missed his, you could see their confidence ebb. Hard to believe he and Alonso could now to pressure like that.

Odious human, good defender. A lot of teams pack their midfield and play lone strikers nowadays, so it's difficult to say if he's the greatest ever.

Congrats to Chesea... Enjoy the victory hal and heels... Best team this season, comfortably. Mourinho knows how to get it done.

Next year should be more close.

A great season. I do hope we sign a few players that allow us to open things up a bit next year. However, winning ugly is always better than losing pretty.

    Well done, Blues.

Terrible news about Rio Ferdinand's wife. **** cancer.

Chelsea deserved champions, played consistently well all season.

United seem almost to be trying to give up 4th place. 3 losses in a row is poor, seems without Carrick the team simply can't attack well.
