Yeah, it's best to wait & see if he can replicate the same form next season.

Seems United want to hold on to Hernandez, sensing they really don't have many striker options.
I'm OK with that, he's talented & not that old. But he's obviously unhappy at being a super-sub even though he's clearly best suited for that role.

If Sterling is 'worth' £49m, then Stones is worth the same. But Ignant's right, he'd be bonkers to leave now. If his progression continues as expected then he'll be able to walk into any side at a time of his choosing. Everton's the only place he's gonna spend a season as a first choice defender.

Defenders historically cost less than attackers. Even if Sterling was worth £49m, he's still an established England international in a more expensive position. Maybe £20m is slightly undervalued, but not by much.

This is of course ignoring the fact neither Sterling nor Stones would be fetching anywhere near those prices if they came from a continental side.

Stones is probably worth £30m. Shaw went for similar, and CBs are more valuable. plus he's English.

£20m is a pathetic undervaluation. Dejan ****ing Lovren went for that.

I'm listening to a brilliant interview with Peter Reid, he won two league titles, an FA Cup and a Cup Winners Cup with Everton

    And then I read this:

    http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/evertons-leon-osman-warns-liverpool-6094782

Leon Osman has warned big spending Mersey rivals Liverpool: “We’ll still give you a run for your money next season - whatever you spend”, writes Steve Bates in the Sunday People.

Brendan Rodgers has already splashed £46 million this summer and could push that close to £80million with Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke on Liverpool’s radar.

By comparison Toffees boss Roberto Martinez has so far spent only £4.2 million on Barcelona’s Spanish winger Gerard Deulofeu and free transfer Tom Cleverley from Manchester United.

But 34-year-old veteran midfielder Osman - in the last year of his contract after 15 seasons at the club - believes Everton can still match their big-spending neighbours despite an eleventh place finish last season and Liverpool’s spending spree this summer.

“Absolutely we can. It doesn’t worry us that Liverpool are spending big again in the transfer market.

“We have our pride, our self-belief. In the last four seasons we have finished above them twice and that is our aim every year.

“It is in the back of our minds, it is not the number one priority but there is good competition within the city.

“Evertonians expect it but people from outside the city see us as underdogs. It is a race that will be very competitive.

“We will not be looking at where we finish until the last day but, come the end of the season, if we’re above them, we’ll be pleased.”

Everton’s campaign was hampered by the Europa League and inconsistency last season. And even though there is no European distraction this time, Osman isn’t looking on that as a bonus.

“It may have cost us but I am not pleased Everton are not in the Europa League. You strive the whole season to get into that competition so when you are in it, you want to play in it.

You can’t wish you weren’t there. You need to learn to from it and that was a big learning curve for us. Our aim is to get back in it this season and do better.

“We can’t afford to have a poor start, we had a slow one last season. The World Cup affected us because we had a lot of players out there and everybody joined up at different parts of pre-season.

“We didn’t get the full team together until the week before the opening game at Leicester. We always seemed to be playing catch-up and on top of that there was the Europa League.

“This summer it has been really settled. We all came back together and we have been having three sessions a day at times.

“We played some great football two seasons ago and we have to get back to that standard.

“We were fantastic and there were times when we showed our quality last season but, perhaps because of the number of games we had, we were not consistent enough.

“That was a lesson in how to manage a season when you have extra games. This season we will have fewer games and, hopefully, we will be at our peak in every one.”

Despite few new faces arriving at Goodison Park this summer, Osman is hoping for big things from new boy Deulofeu.

“He is a lively player, we saw that when he was on loan with us previously. His qualities speak for themselves - his pace, his dribbling ability, the way he can strike the ball.

“If we can get him to play to his potential, we have a hell of a player.”

2 out of 4! Sounds much better than 3 out of 28.

    :lmao

If we do that it'll mean ADM is off, which would pay for most of it. And Muller is way better than ADM. It won't happen tho

    Best pic of the year.

After that, he said "we have to clean this first" "This has nothing to do with football".
