That's the spirit. Forget about your own abject failures by talking about other teams. That'll help :)

Yeeeeop, Chelsea and United have accepted defeat a long time ago. Having the opportunity to win one single solitary game and make it to the CL, and failing, that is far far worse.

    Far worse diggy

    Far far worse

Are you talking about my reply to your post essentially talking about other teams, halibut?

Or worse, only talking about me, because you're an abject failure as a poster in comparison?

    I like this game!

United seem to be trying to lose this final.
Maybe they really want rid of LVG.

Although I think he'll go either way

Bugger, I wanted Palace to win from an underdog perspective

From a United perspective, I hope this doesn't mean LVG keeps his job as he just does not know how to get the best out of United

It was inevitable considering this seasons performances. I'm surprised United held out as long as they did though. Had he been in charge from Jan you may have hit the champions league.

I still don't think he's the right person long term for you but for the next 2.5yrs he'll do you fine

Yep, good signing for the short term, undoubtedly. However, the thought of Jose having to play Thursday/Sunday does please me, I cannot lie.

Palace fan here, gutted we lost to Man Utd and those Clattenburg decisions we infuriating but overall I think we gave it our best shot, we didn't lose it so much as they won it.

I'm guessing Phil McNulty couldn't wait to switch BBC headlines about Van Gal potentially being sacked after his constant "Man Utd in crisis, Klopp's glorious revolution" typical pro Liverpool bias blew up in his face again.

The media could at least have let LVG bask in the glory of winning a trophy without immediately bringing up whether he's getting sacked.
FA Cup is a good way for him to leave, I like the guy but his style & stubbornness weren't working.

Jose's seemingly inevitable appointment might make things better. But it depends who he buys.
Currently there are more concerns regarding him being in charge than there are positives.

LVG's been on borrowed time since December. He's not stupid, I suspect he's always known he had till the end of the season and I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a gentleman's agreement in place to have him see out the season and only be punted if performance was catastrophic.

Mourinho at United however will be interesting to begin with then Hilarious over the latter end of his tenure.

Also, didn't realise there was an England match today, doesn't mean much but at least I have beer left from yesterday to use today.

I hope the youngsters LVG has brought in will still get development under Mourinho.
Sidelining Rashford in favour of several big name new strikers won't help him realise his potential.
Jose is not known for promoting youth within his teams, he'll most likely go for proven talent
