I, for one, look forward to Inited spending boatloads of money on top quality offensive talent like Griezman and then parking the bus all season long.

And Mou complaining should any bottom-table team park the bus against them.

Jose's won a lot of trophies playing that way. If it works I'm not knocking it.

It's boring sure, but it can be effective.
There must be a Plan B though, mustn't end up like Arsenal & just have one game plan.

But it works, he's won a lot of trophies. And what would be the plan B to hoofing up to elbows? That should be the plan B.

There's no point in buying great attacking players if you don't plan to attack with them.
A defensively solid team is a good foundation to work on. Ajax are a great attacking team but poor defensively. Also unable to break down a solid defensive opponent, which United were.

Van Gaal was too defensive minded, didn't allow freedom to attack because he shackled the players.

Mourinho understands the value of solid defending, but also of quick & effective counter-attacking. Which you can't do unless you sign good attacking players.

I'm sure Greizman is well aware of the Mourinho & won't sign if he's not happy playing that way.

Mata has done well so far, and he was cast aside before because he didn't fit in to how José wanted to play at Chelsea.
Attacking wasn't the problem this season, finishing was.

For more money & a high chance of winning trophies, no reason why not.
And he's still not ruled it out

Atletico have won the league and been in two Champions League finals more recently than Manchester United.

You think the League Cup and Europa are the height of his ambition?

No, which is why he said 6/10 before the Europa League final. To see if United could get into the CL. That number may be higher now.
He may well stay, but his agent will certainly encourage him if lucrative offers come along.

10 minutes played at Hampden Park and its 1-1.

A well worked corner kick finding Hayes at the far post to shoot past Celtic keeper Gordon to open the scoring for Aberdeen.

Almost immediately from restart, Celtic got the equaliser from a Stuart Armstrong shot from the edge of the area following good work from Mcgregor.

Kieran Tierney is deliberately elbowed in the face by Aberdeen's Stockley. No action taken by the referee and the Celtic and Scotland full back leaves the field with damaged teeth and gums.

Tom Rogic replaces him in a reshaped Celtic side.

    Chelsea haven't been good though.
Arsenal have a lucky goal, but could've had more legitimate ones.

I expect a Chelsea turnaround in the second half.

When push comes to shove, both Griezman and Simeone are going to follow the money. Don't be naive.

What a beautiful day of football.

Goal for Chelsea, then immediately a goal from Arsenal and most importantly, one from Dortmund.

    Great game, end to end.

Arsenal screwed up a lot of chances to score more.
Chelsea could easily have sneaked one. But made it difficult after the stupid dive by Moses.

    Congrats Arsenal, a fine win.
Especially with the reserve keeper & the mighty Metesacker.
