I’d definitely put Loris at least a notch below DeGea. One name people should start mentioning is Ter Stegen, who has progressed tremendously for Barca this year.

On the other hand, Courtois doesn’t seem to have progressed that well since moving to Chelsea.

 

Rubbish. He is simply an outstanding keeper and Madrid should definitely sign him this summer

thing is, we really do need to buy better defenders. we currently have two ageing midfielders-turned-defenders as fullbacks, and Smalling as part of our defence, who can barely string a pass together. why Jose doesn't start Shaw ill never know but arguably we have to protect the defenders so much because they can't be trusted.

 

The thing is, that has worn off more and more quickly. Look at how quickly things turned against him at Chelsea. Return of the messiah to run out of town in little more than a season. As soon as he doesn’t win titles, players and fans turn against him and his destructive tactics very quickly.

 

The thing is, just wait until his second season, that's when things will kick into high gear. Of course you then get the third season when everything is worse, but it will be worth it.
