    So much poor passing

    But got the result.
Will need to play better if we want to win the Cup though. Spurs will punish that kind of lackluster performance

still a better chance of winning silverware than Liverpool this season, despite the freaky season Salah is having

I'm not sure I'd bet on us Vs Spurs even without Kane.

Liverpool Vs City could be epic.
City to win on away goals 8-8

They will when it doesn't pay off.

As long as it does, style is a sacrifice worth making.
No trophies this season & the fans & the board won't be happy.
José will likely get one more season to improve, then be gone if things stay the same.

    Or maybe not.
Other clubs seem happy to stick with managers who never win anything. United might decide to be one of those clubs now

    can't argue with that.

you beat watford 5-0, watford beat us 4-1. we loaned him out repeatedly and then gave salah to roma for basically nothing. now we can't find a consistent scorer to save our lives. robben was our biggest throwaway until de bruyne, who has now been supplanted by salah.

    poor business vs good business.

I'm pretty sure Liverpool fans said that when Brendan Rogers was around.
With Suarez and co in the team.

    Potential needs to become something.
How long is Klopp allowed without success before potential becomes failure?

    5 years?
    8 Years?

You say that, but would you give up the money?

Go back to how you were before he took over?

see, i can't answer that - compared to you all, i'm a bandwagoner. only started watching in 2003, so i don't know what it was like in the old days. :p

that being said, i imagine that, given the growth of the club with numerous epl titles and one champions league one, we could attract a wealthy saudi oil tycoon new owner who isn't a micromanager and quite so short-fused.

Back in the days when we only had four European cups? Yep, the benchmark is higher now.

And you made the comparison. You should first try and become the best team in the Manchester area, because you’re a looooooong way from that.

Why compare Rogers to Klopp? Just because you replaced like for like, it doesn’t mean every team does.

So, if 5 years from now Liverpool are in exactly the same place you'll be happy?

The same thing that's happened the last few years.

    Top 4, no trophies.

Basically, nicer looking Arsenal without the success.
