"The Benefactor" short

Here's our latest short. I've got the idea, made a draft in seconds, and shot today with my friends. I just finished editing it, so hereby I present you:

The Benefactor

Well, it's about that guy who doesn't have any money, and want to buy a chocolate. Then this other guy shows up and helps him out. Then he vanishes. I thought it will be easy to understand...

 

Yeah, I got that... But, so what?

 

Would a lightsaber fight be better, or original ideas are a problem hereby?

 

I don't understand what it is with people and criticism. I simply don't understand why the man helped him and left. That's all I am saying. Why would I want the man to be helped? or would I not want him to be helped? And then a camera magically appears around his neck? I simply do not understand. I'm not trying to put you down or bash your video in any way. Its all a matter of how you take it, learn to lower your defenses a bit and take in what other people are saying next time.

 

You're lost in details What's so important about how that camera got there? And that guy is just a local benefactor, who pops up at places and helps out people. That's all. You shouldn't take these 1 min net-shorts so seriously... Even WE didn't take it.

 

That was pretty neat. The one problem I have with it is you break the 180 degree rule at one point and it's quite jarring. Other than that, fun little short.
