Okay, I may have no experience when dating...but doesn't that sound a little...empty? As a reason anyway.

 

She also said she thought she was ready to date but isn't and is completely avoiding guys at school because she says its not her

 

Okay, that makes a little more sense. Still sucks though...

Okay, my roomie was dating a girl around august/september of last year. It was going pretty well, we went on a double date to the beach for the day and got along with her pretty well, and generally everything seemed to be going just fine. Then out of the blue she broke up with him, 2 days after having her sister over and insisting that he help to keep her entertained and out of trouble for a day or two. She gave some really lame excuses (and I mean REALLY lame,) and my roomie was pretty upset. About 5 weeks later, he and a mutual friend of ours starts dating, and now they're getting married this month.

Sorry if this comes off as just another, "You'll be fine, there's plenty more fish in the sea" talks, but I just thought maybe it could be encouragement.

EDIT: No offence to anyone who was gonna bring up the fish analogy.
