Haha that's true. I'm one of those Oldbie lurkers that pops in once every 6 months to a year to say hi. I do recognize Sinrebirth but he wasn't a Mod last time I was here. Wow so much has changed.

Crazy, that's a scary looking tornado.

Its rather hard to find an image of the Joplin Tornado, simply because it was so sudden. That being said, images of the damage abound.

My step grandmother witnessed that tornado. 1946 was an eventful year in Windsor.

Sky Guy, there's youtube with the Jolplin tornado forming

just watching the footage of the beginning, its four smaller tornadoes forming into one. Its scary on how much damage one can cause in a short amount of time.

I'm glad we only have to worry about the occasional earthquake in California. I don't think we'd be able to handle a Tornado.

A lot of streets were leveled to their foundations. One does not underestimate the power of an F5 tornado.

I prefer my hurricane force windstorms, earth quakes and floods. Yes come where I live. . .if you dare [face_skull]

So when this become a natural disaster comparison? Just curious.

We don't get earthquakes, we do feel the tremors. but nothing to get excited over. I'm thankful where I live we get enough snow to bury us alive

Edit: I don't know, Sky Guy got overally excited I think.

We were comparing who has the colder winters first then he threw that in the mix. Not sure what that has to do with cold weather though

No, we started comparing summers and I brought up how much my last one sucked. It kind of devolved into the tornado talk after that :p

Lucky you. I have to travel out of the way to get a snow day in. Which reminds me I haven't gone snowboarding at all this season. I need to remedy that.

It really did start off with cold talk which turned into heated summers then tornado talk

Considering this is the BMC, that's actually rather tame in the 'random' category :p

Luckily here in the UK we don't get tornadoes very often, we get a lot of funnels though.

Most extreme weather we get is snow, and apprently there is some heading our way.
