Well, that's UK comedians for you -- especially at the time the "Carry On" series was in full swing!

 

That sounds somewhat familiar. Care to elaborate?

 

Never heard of Carry On unless you mean the 1-2 pieces of smaller luggage that you're allowed to bring on the airplane.

A long, long, series of comedy films of 60's & 70's vintage; all with 'Carry On' in the title, staring Sid James, Keneth Williams, Barbara Windsor, Joan Simms, Charles Hawtrey etc. and full of British Seaside-Postcard humour (just on the right side of smut)!

Probably the best moment was Kenneth Williams (as Julius Caesar - Carry On, Caesar) intoning the line "Infamy, Infamy, they've all got it in for me!". Otherwise a lot of the character names, and the situations, were somewhat smutty -- quite often referring to fixtures found in a washroom, for example.

Did you get any snow up the the other day? All that we got was some rain.

 

it was a mixture of rain and snow, it was a light dusting of snow and that was it.

 

I want a couple feet of snow. We haven't had that much snow at one time since I was little.

 

Lucky you. We had three feet one week and another three feet the following week. That was two years ago...

Most of the time we tend to get more sleet/freezing rain than snow.
