If you think your day is stressed out, listen to how my night was yesterday.

I get to work, and they beg me to start early because they haven't finished everything they were supposed to in preparation for my shift. So of course, I start early so they can finish up. Well everything seems to be going good til about six, that's when the entire computer mainframe crashed. So during this time, I've got three people who can't clock off, people still calling to order pizza, and and drivers waiting to be cashed in from their runs. So it takes me about thirty to forty minutes to get the system up and running again. At this point, people are wandering where their pizza is at, most of which have just been sent out the door. Well it seems like things were going to go smoothly again, I made it til eleven thirty without any major problems. Then I find out that the printer isn't working, so i can't print out any of the paperwork I HAVE to do before closing the restaurant. It takes me about fifteen minutes to get it working again, and I get one report printed off before the printer decides to start spitting out paper with a bunch of gibberish on it, and it won't stop. Well it eventually jams, so I turn it off and fix the jam. It starts printing off nonsense again as soon as I turn it back on, until it jams again. So I try to fix the jam again, but the printer was convinced that something was still jamming it after I removed the apparent cause of the jam. So I did what I could without the paperwork, and got out of the store about one fifty.

Evil.

 

*whips up a cantina special concoction for those stressed out days*

LOL, I just took 2 Ambien, so good luck on getting knocked out. I will be knocked out iof the jerk next door stops revving his motorcycle in front of my home.

Good! Things were pretty quiet around here though they seem to be picking up steadily now which I like. I thought everyone had abandoned me!

 

There's no such thing ..

At least I'm still here. Oh wait and I have to admit it's been a long break.

Well it has been a rough two years of Star Wars books so I don't blame people for not being around. I do enjoy the Legacy comics a lot though. And the Fate of the Jedi series seems to be alright for now.

 

Two years of Star Wars books? You mean how people here used to be around then RPing here and there .. Yeah I guess .. some of them are now just retiring from the site ..

 

Well, actually quite a few just do the RPF thing now and don't post here that often. Others just lost interest in Star Wars.

*shrug*

I still love it.

 

Star Wars is epic.

I have also spotted a RPF based on Harry Potter .. sorry if it takes me that long to post this.

 

That and DRL crimps our style.

 

Especially when you fall into the true dark side DRL possesses- grown up life, college, and/or graduate school.
