Austin has a river called Lake Austin. This is my kind of city.

Soo....continuing to prove I can multitask, I'm playing STO while plotting out a new RP.

Well like every university I look at I put it into my Cappex account...
According to Cappex, "it's a reach".
Yet for Johns Hopkins and Cornell it says I have a good chance. They have lower acceptance rates.
I do not like this calculator.

 

I know kids who are applying to Hopkins. Cornell is really depressing.

 

Johns Hopkins has been the school I've wanted to get into since 5th grade.
Cornell has really good research, but I didn't really like the campus.
Columbia was another one I was looking at.
I also have a few in the UK (Bangor, QMUL, Imperial College) and then University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Northwestern, University of Pennsylvania, and New York University.

What's depressing about it?

 

I'm applying to UPenn, Wisconsin, and Illinois also!

I'll take that as a skip-the-application or apply-with-caution then. Considering it's $75 I'll probably skip it.

Cappex is a college planning tool. You input your grades and SAT scores and it tells you how likely it is you'll be accepted.

By January 2nd. If I'm not modelling I'll go. If I am I'll see if I can pick one and carry the acceptance over.
