I know.

I always like butter and maple syrup on my waffles, but looking at that I am thinking I would like to give BBQ sauce a try.

 

Somebody get me some BBQ

That looks gross. I can't imagine that combination of flavors. It doesn't seem very appealing to me, unless its honey barbecue, then it might actually work. I guess its because the barbecue I'm most familiar with is Texas barbecue from when I lived in Austin in 1990-1992 (I was a wee toddler back then). That barbecue tends to be less sweet and a whole lot more spicy. That combined with the fact that most of my life I've been in the Southwest, I'm pretty accustomed to spicy foods.

The waffles would not work as well the NC BBQ, but I do love NC BBQ. Mostly here it's a sweeter BBQ or the NC.
