Just glad I don't live on Vancouver Island. It's been bad enough here but they were getting 30ft waves and the mountains have gotten a metre of snow in the last day. But it's still gusting at 50kph, still no power... just waiting.

After 6 hours the power is back on at last, the sun is shining... if there weren't tons of trees down I'd say it's almost like there was no storm.

True enough, when there were still trees in our front yard (back when my sister and I were still in high school), they had raccoons living in them and one tried to open my sister's bedroom window!

 

Very nice Sunday here. Ran with friends early, cleaned house, used a gift card to buy some needed running supplies, took my son to the park and visited with a mom friend came home and watched the Knicks lose. Didn't really want them to lose, but you know I guess things can't be perfect.

 

No, the Nationals are like that in the post-season sadly. Our bullpen is AWFUL, especially the closers.

My husband found and bought a Jaina Solo black series today. She's pretty, but it brings about mixed feelings. I don't even understand why they made the action figure.

I honestly stopped liking the EU when Lucas ordered they kill Anakin Solo. It's been so long I don't care anymore. I still like the idea of three Solo kids very much! Gave them two good ones since you knew one would go dark. Oh wells, now in the Disney version they got no good ones. I do really like Kylo Ren, it's just sad Han and Liea don't get at least one good kid. I also stopped buying stuff like action figures about 18 years ago. Not just cause I'm an adult. I just decided experiences were more fun. I'd much rather go to an NBA game, see a movie with my kids or whatever than have a room full of action figures. But I did have one when I was a teenager. I guess priorities change.

 

I stopped liking the EU when Chewie was killed.
