Essentially it's an assignment you are meant to work on over the course of your final year of high school. My school is very loose with it, pretty much it sets you up for managing projects on your own for college and your career. Like among my siblings one got a period accurate costume and roleplayed as Sarah Emma Edmonds and did an in character presentation for the middle schoolers, my other sister did a report on some poet and went to her house in London, and i am doing a blog retrospective on Batman over the decades, both in how he effects pop culture, and how pop culture effects him. The blog itself is not the assignment, nor was the presentation, it has more to do with presenting what you did to a panel of teachers who see how well you managed yourself. Like you can have a bad end product, but still do well cause the point is about learning from the experience.

We did something similar in elementary school; they called that an "IT" project.

Oh cool!!!! Schools approach senior projects differently, and I like seeing what others do.
Not that I've had one or given one, but I hear about them. That sounds like a fun experience.
