    A late but very Happy New Year from RJR (me)!

    I had a nice slumber. If the neighbors shot fireworks at midnight I didn't even hear them.

    Baby only got up one and slept until 6:30 AM :eek:

    I won't be leaving for my race until 10:30 or so. I think they do it at noon because they suspect everyone stays up late on New Years Eve. I'm nervous [face_nail_biting]been over a year since I ran one of these things.

    Only goal is to finish today. Part of being nervous is knowing I will see a bunch of people I haven't seen in a year. I've missed the running community. But it's always weird to re-enter a group, it's like starting all over.

    No, maybe later in the Spring when it warms up, or in the fall. Will have to be a more organized race on an actual road if I do. This is a club race on a fairly narrow trail. People have brought strollers but it seems rather inconsiderate to the people who are there to really race in my mind because this type of thing is not designed for that.

    Also babies are supposed to be 8 months before you run with them in a stroller. Now I think I started when my other son was 5 months, he had really good neck control and could sit up even before that on his own.

    No doubt though baby and I will run together a lot. When the time is right.
