I am bored so I have decided to tell you my lateest beef with humanity.

You see, I own (along with some friends) a webpage called High School Gamers. It is just your typical videogame website with reviews and forums. Well, my school, Kenston, decided to put a link to our page because HSG had originally started there. Well, some of us got together for a picture of the people who work on the site. It was really poorly edited so I decided to "spruce it up." As a joke, and with the consent of the people in the picture, I posted it on your main page at HSG...

I thought it was innocent enough. Well, the Kenston principal thought differently. He apparently freaked out and ordered to have whoever made the picture sent to the office and punished. Of course, it seems none of my friends had any problem turning me in...

I get the slip today and I show up in the office prepared to give 'em hell. You see, they were mad that this picture would ruin the Kenston website's credibility and was in bad-taste. What confuses me, however, is why they can punish me. High School Gamers is not run by Kenston, is not hosted by Kenston, and has no affiliation with Kenston.

So the Vice-Prinicipal (the actual principal is too much of a wimp to fight his own battles) tells me the story of how I am in huge trouble. I pull the 1st amendement on him (which was quite fun ). He says anything done in the school took away that right. Of course, I didn't make the picture or post it from school... it was all done from home. I tell him this and he says that I can still get in trouble because there is a freakin LINK to our site on the Kenston site. I didn't post the link, and I didn't even know I could get in trouble for something having NOTHING to do with the school.

He says that the principal had wanted to go postal on my ass. He wanted to take away all of my school computer rights, and give me a few Saturday and afterschool detentions. But luckily the guy realizes that I meant no harm and that the principal is a moron. He says that I should just move the picture and I won't get punished. So I did, and that is that. I still feel like I shouldn't have had to do anything... I pay for HSG and I can do what I damn well please... *sigh*

Another update on last night.

I can't believe this. I didn't know Marc was in the car. I loved him, although I talked to him seldomly. I just can't believe he's dead... Angie's dead... I just saw her the other day! It's so unreal... how can this be? They're gone... and they're trying to say it's Marc's fault and it's not!

I'm clearing my sig, including my title and everything, to just put this in. Please understand. I want people to know they didn't deserve to die and respect their memory.

 

This post has been tested on cute little baby animals and has been known to cause cancer in everyone. Also, it is responsible for destroying the ozone, for butchering baby seals and grinding up dolphins in the tuna nets.
