I'm gonna take a break soon and watch the DVD stuff again too. We got Spiderman to watch tonight.......I still haven't seen it....

 

I was very impressed with Spider-Man...a lot of my friends told me that FX were over-blown, but, I thought it was really well-done.

But, then again, I've been a Spider-Man fan since I was about 10..Carnage was always the coolest villian..

Ghosts, you missed Spidey in the theater? Too bad. I saw it twice before Clones came out. Thing is, you either like Sam Raimi's style or you don't. I was always a fan of Army of Darkness, so I was delighted to hear that he was directing Spidey. I knew he'd be right for the job, and not just some director-for-hire.

I was sitting at my computer for a long time, yesterday. I need to go outside and walk around....

 

Yeah, I missed it in the theater zeek.. That's what happens when your friends blow you off for girls..

But, you're right...Raimi has that unique way of directing. Army of Darkness was AWESOME!! Another thing I like about Spidey is the score...Danny Elfman did a great job. The tracks make me think of 'Batman'...another classic..

EDIT: OK now I'm all hyped up for Spider-Man...I gotta watch it now.

I love the part when 'Gobby' turns around in the burning building and it's a fast cut with the shriek. It's a shout-out to the witch-monster Ash fights at the beginning of Army of Darkness.

EDIT: Yeah, I went by myself the first time, then again with my uncle. He's a 34-year old kid.

IT IS 'BATMAN' .

I was dissapointed in Elfman's no-effort rehash score. He usually on the money.

Too bad you missed Spidey on the big screen, G_O_A, the swinging scenes were incredible!!!


By the by the JACKAL was Spidey's best villian. (for us old schoolers)

I love Army of Darkness. It is pure genius. Spiderman on the otherhand was only allright. Sam should have had Spiderman say "Give me some sugar baby." or "You see this? This, is my BOOMSTICK. I swear if another one of you primates so much as look at me wrong and I'll.." or "Who wants some? Come on, who's next?"

Ash would kick Peter Parker's scrawny little shaak.

No way. Venom was Spidey's best villain. Carnage was just a cheap rehash (I got those comics off the newsstand when I was 12). I never actually heard of the Jackal, but I do have one with a fella named Whirlwind...

EDIT: Bruce is going to kick Tobey's shaak in part 2 as the Lizard.

 

Sorry Nomis...I'm only 21...my Spidey knowledge is somewhat limited..

And you're right about that Envy, but that was what made Tobey so good for the part. He was a typical nerdy kid who got superpowers...just like the comic. IMO they couldn't have casted a better guy for that part.

EDIT: Is it known yet who the villian is gonna be for 'Amazing Spider-Man'?

that must be one of those DVD rom features I keep hearing about. My InterActual Player always freezes on me. Try clicking on that spidey or something.

I'm 23, and I know quite a bit about spidey. I used to spend all my allowance at the comic store... back when I got allowance. 8 billion years ago...

I would vote for Ashe in any battle dome no matter what............I don't care if it was Ashe vs. Palpatine..... I would still vote for him....

Actually, Ghosts..........I was planning on launching 2.5 in about an hour....

Hello everyone...my vanilla coke just puked in my salsa and the FBI is after me for stealing candy from babies from behind the IGA. I now watch my salsa bubble in the closet...

Power went out at school, and it went on 3 minutes before we'd get to go home.. We were in the one sector that stayed on, and ran around like idiots and did homework. At least I missed Trig!!

My friends including the one and only Paploo wanna bring EP 2 and LOTR Extended over, but I dunno if they can... <crosses fingers>
