A guy in the senate is debating me saying as a "true Christian" I should only hold to a Young Earth position, yet he isn't even a believer.. What do you make of that??

Sounds a bit hypocritical to me Ooch. That person probably thinks he knows it better because he's on the outside or is acting in accordance with some prejudice he carries. You can't really take a Christian position on anything really..... there are so many different sects and all. I mean, really, only the fundamental, basic bulwarks of the faith can serve as overlaps between the various sects.

I'm wondering if he's playing "The Devil's Advocate"[Fun game! ] or something. At first I took him as a poster child for Answers In Genesis, but then he said he was not a Christian, but he's against a Christian believing in an old-earth as it "violates the Bible".

Strange, strange.. But, I agree, Christians only all share the very basics togather, then we almost always disagree on everything else. I guess that's good, atleast we might be thinking..

I'm assuming your girlfriend or wife had a daughter that called you daddy and died...

Why would she call you daddy? How long have you been with your current girlfriend?
