the books should have been turned into movies.

I've read star wars SOTE and starwars splinter of the minds eye. And I really think that they should have been turned into movies. But now some of the characters look too different from when they started so unless they put them in CG I dont think they can do it. WHY, Why do important people have to age?

what do you think about the books turing into a movie?

I wouldn't say no to the idea of a Zahn or NJO KotOR-style project with cutscenes and the original actors...

I would have no problem with another actor being cast as one of the roles from the OT. In the past, I too thought that was a big hindrance, but now- so long as the actor is talented, and can ACT like the characters we know and love, i don't really mind. I'd definately trade a ball-park resemblance for acting ability.

+Truce At Bakura

+X-Wing series 2 (into, perhaps, a trilogy. though the inevitable butchering and cutting would, of course, have to be given the okay by me first)

television series?

+X-Wing (series 1 or 2)

+I think even TTT could make a good series, with little abridgement.

I think more than anything I'd like to see the x-wing novels made into a television series. not us much of my hopes would rest upon a one off movie that would probably suck. A bit of television entertainment during the week i could actually look forward to. doesn't involve any of the old characters (well, wedge and a few cameos).

 

I might change my sig. Its from about a year ago, when the board climate was getting absolutely ridiculously hostile. which was kind of why i stopped coming until a week ago (and also because i've had a lot of university work and tolkien books to get through ). Seems things may have changed around here. I certainly hope so.

 

No books should be turned into movies, but I'd love to see a YJK animated series, and a TOTJ live action series.

 

No movies, thought I'd love to see a few animated series or TV mini-series ala Dune, Children of Dune, Battlestar Glactica.
