Why is it that Canadians get the Queen's birthday off but the Brits don't?

 

We're specialer.

 

Because we don't have any other true holidays in May.

 

Rather sad, isn't it?

 

I heard apparently they get this day off in Australia too.

 

All I know is there's a teachers' meeting on Friday, so I get a four day weekend.

Die OPPM.

 

Yay for long weekends...

However, I've been off of school for almost two weeks. Yay for summer vacation!

 

And let there be hot weather!

today - saturday
tomorrow - sunday
monday - queens Bday, no school
tuesday - tour of highschool, school but no work
wednesday - leave for fieltrip to Halifax
thursday - in halifax
friday - leave halifax
saturday - still no school
sunday - last day of no schoolness

count it, 9 days of no school!
