The Camping Thread...

    Ok, ok. I know all we need is another thread. LOL


    But with so many of us enjoying the fine art of staying up late, running from rabid raccoons and general mayhem... I thought I would start this.

    That being said, Leash, Amy and I (and our respective families) will going to Cuivre River on Memorial weekend. Friday and Saturday night. I though I would invite any of you that might be interested, to come up with us. Either to stay over or come up for the day. :D

    Or...... I could make a paper mache' raccoon pinata and we break it open as soon as we get there to show them how we deal with trespassers and theives. [face_devil]

    I know I'm new to the board, but I'm realitivily close to CR park, and if My participation in the Greater St. Louis Ren Faire doesn't pan out, I might make it to this camp-out. newbies are invited, rot? I love camping!!! Oh, and i know all about those raccoons, seeing as i live in 6 acres of woods... I'm particially in the deep of their territory. [face_laugh]

    The main thing though... I will need to know ASAP if anyone else is coming, because I just checked and as of 11:30, there are only three spots left in the whole park.

    And even when I made the reservations for the two sites we have, they couldn't be next to each other. They are close and that works, cause we usually end up using one site to sit around at anyway...

    Wow...this weekend is really sneaking up. I was thinking Memorial Day was always like the 30th, but it's earlier this year.
