Cool Beans! I can try to get another room when the blocks open up if you guys want. I just like the fact that it is a block away from the convention center. Also, the people staying there already have a board going. They're even making pins for the people staying there. It's pretty tempting to keep my reservation.
But I'll stay wherever you guys are. Can we say ~Star Wars party!!!!

hey guys...i'm from the Inland Empire, CA FanForce (and a friend of JediYvette)...but if you guys need any help let me know...there is a guy in our group that can get discounts for Disneyland (being from cali there are quite a lot of peeps i know that can get some kind of discount to all of the major spots)...and i work for United Airlines and can try and help for Tickets...but i think i read somewhere you guys didn't want to fly united ...but anyways...let me know or Cheetos girl...and she can tell me or whatever...

 

That would be great. United scares me just because of the luggage issue. I really don't trust any of the airlines. Paranoid and loss of control! Noooo!!!

Right now, nothing's set, but as soon as we know which days we're going to Disneyland and when we're flying, we'll let you know! Thanks!

Greetings! I'm new to the forum, but met a bunch of folks at the Renaissance Festival last weekend. I am VERY interested in Celebration 4 and would like to get up to speed on what the airplane/hotel situation is so far. Is there space left in any of the shared rooms? Costa involved? Any help is much appreciated. Also, is anyone attending Anglicon this October or Norwescon next year?

I think we are still waiting out the airplane and hotel situation. Airfaire will prob. be cheeper in the Fall and the hotel rooms reserved by the con have not been opened up yet to the fans.
Keep your eyes posted here for any new developments!

Starwars.com have finally posted news on when eager Star Wars fans can register and order their passes and hotel accommodations for Celebration IV scheduled for Memorial Day weekend, May 24-28, 2007.

Fans can begin crashing the servers on October 30th at 12 noon PST. Prices for the event are relatively decent in comparison to Celebration III and are as follows.

Pre-Registration
4-Day Adult $110
4-Day Child* $45
1-Day Adult $40
1-Day Child* $20
*(6-12 years old. Children under 6 are free)

Onsite Purchases
4-Day Adult $125
4-Day Child* $55
1-Day Adult $45
1-Day Child* $25
(*6-12 years old. Children under 6 are free)

 

Yeah, just saw that. Now we need more info and get all booked. Who all is still planning on going?

We'll probably have extra room since you have to buy a room for 4-5 people. So 6 would equal 2 rooms with lots of space. Of course, not idea yet, but I'll plan for her as well.

Why do they say 4 days when there is 5 days of the con??? Hmmm? I guess $110 is for five days?

 

Maybe Day 1 for the fan club is free? Very weird. I'll look around and check my e-mail for more information.

It also says there are 4 "Friends and Family" passes for each fan club member, which includes the same benefits, including the free Thursday.

After I get tickets for myself, I'll start hunting down rooms. I don't have a definitive number of people going, but I'm going to guess our group will need 3-4 rooms. I won't be on until after 5:30 that night though.

Edit #2: Hotel rooms will be available November 2, after purchase of badges. Just read that. Whoops.

Woot, the registration site is up and running. Just finished buying my tickets a bit ago

If you are a Hyperspace member, there is no place to check verifying this when you go to purchase tickets. However in the email you will get from them, they state that if your Hyperspace membership is current by the time they ship the tickets, they will ship out the Hyperspace Lanyards at that time.

This is from the email sent:
If you selected to have your items shipped to you, shipping will start in
mid-April, 2007. If your Fan Club membership is current at the time of shipping,
we will ship your Fan Club lanyard and your Friends & Family Coupons (if
applicable) with your badges.

Also here is the information about how the Hotel Registration will work:
Hotel reservations for Celebration IV will open at 10am (PST) on Thursday,
November 2nd. You will receive an email on that date with your housing code and
instructions for how to reserve a discounted room in the Celebration IV hotel
room blocks. Badge registration will be taken offline on Thursday, November 2nd
from 7:30am-10:00am (PST) while we run the reports and send out the hotel
confirmation email. To ensure that you receive the hotel confirmation email,
please add registration@gencon.com to your Address Book or Safe List.
