You should sign up for Dice, Sabine! It's a really fun game
What is it about? You know, I'm too lazy to read through the rules for finding an interesting game.
Not laughing, Dafty...
Basically, everyone is given a set of 5 dice. Then players go around and bet how many of a certain kind (two 3'd, five 4's, etc.) there are total without knowing what everyone else has. Then someone calls "liar" and everyone reveals their dice. If there are however many of what the last player said, the person who called liar is out; if there aren't enough, the person who guessed is out.
Ah, I think I know that game, but hardly ever played it... or maybe once played it years ago (or just watched others playing it).
I'm thinking about trying it, although I would love to play one of the earlier suggested games. But those are still waiting for sign ups.
And Dice is desperately looking for people!
Ok, ok, you convinced me.
How's everyone's week been?
Looking forward to returning to the position of Apples to Apples Host. I've missed it.
I got 8 new movies for Christmas. My favorite is Soule Surfer. I never get tired of watching it; on Dvd or TV.
Kinda hard. Going back to school has been a shock to my system.
Cool, prj1! What other movies?
That sucks, Gunny
I scheduled a light semester for myself, since it's my last ( [face_despair] ).
You people and your light schedules.
Last semester, I took 16 credits and worked full time. I felt no reason for a repeat
But I totally understand why you want to take it easy. 16+ credits alone is a handful, let alone working even a few hours a week.
I'd have to question your sanity if you did.
Well, if it's a job you like, and you're taking easy classes, I can see it. Otherwise, no.
Yeah, I questioned my sanity the whole semester I enjoyed some of the classes and some of the work (multiple jobs that added up to full-time hours, not one full-time job), but it was too much, especially since they were all upper-level courses. When you only get 5-6 hours of sleep per night and you still don't get all your reading done, you know it's too much Fewer classes and less work (and more fun!) this semester
Gunny, what are you taking this semester? And Loyal, how goes the job hunt?
Taking some general ed. courses (only because they're required) plus more-focused sections of biology and chemistry that are tailored to my major (so they aren't general courses).
Gen-ed aren't usually much fun Glad you're getting into your major! A couple of my friends are doing bio. Way over my head
Loyal, may I ask in what area/field you're looking for a job? Job hunting isn't that easy these days and I hope you find one soon - and one you enjoy.
Bought some dancing shoes the day before yesterday. Now I can't wait for them to arrive.
...and I'm going to do a run today, but it's so freezing cool!!! Hopefully I find some warm stuff to wear, if not... and if you start missing me, you know what happened.
Edit: Must wait 25 seconds to post!
Edit 2: How long is 25 seconds! I am sure time on the board goes slower...
For sure... especially if you can't wait for posting or getting an answer.
