so were there any sw mini playing there?
Probably. The con is split between 4 hotels. I didn't spend much time in the hotel where they were gaming.
well, nonetheless. Great pics!! Those are some pretty amazing costumes.
I saw some great costumes in those pictures Jada, I especially appreciated the Cobra Trooper girl.
dropping in to say hi jut covered 10 chapters in one of my classes
so how was DC
great . . .
i'm so worn out right now and I'll have to be getting up earlier starting Wednesday because the sithling has to be at school by 7:30am.
Just wanted to say hello from Tucson. Clone Wars starts tonight!! Yay!
What'd you think of Clone Wars? I thought it rocked.. especially the Yoda episode...pure fun like Star Wars was when I was growing up on it.
I enjoyed it. I think the plots were good, better than the movie was. Looking forward to next week.
crawls in . . . barely able to keep eyes open
con . . . great . . . sleep . . . not enough
Clone Wars rocked. I loved the Yoda episode especially his interactions with the clones and with Ventress. Not to say I didn't like the Plo Koon episode, I liked that one too.
Can't wait til next week!!!!
Yep, he moved back to Georgia for a year and a half. He's currently living with me in my apartment, though.
I've missed ya'll too. I'm bookmarking the fanforce so I won't forget to log in. I just always seem to log in when theres no one around.
How've you been? I loved the MonsterCon pictures!
I've been super busy between cons and sewing projects. I'm currently working on the sithling's pirate and TK-2970's pirate as well as making Yarna v2.0. Plus I'm a soccer mom and I'm volunteering at the sithling's school . . . NOT in the class room I'm the photocopy mom.
Super miss you!
so we are going to get a look at Y-wings on Friday night's CW#3 episode. Normally I'm not that excited about ships, but with the connection to OT it does capture my interest. Are you guys getting together to watch the episodes together. We are here in Tucson. Makes it a bit more fun watching together
Sounds like you've been really busy with everything. That's awesome you're volunteering at the school.
I wish I knew how to sew! I want a cute Halloween costume. Going to a costume party on the 30th for my friends birthday and Halloween.
I've just been working a lot, like usual. Hanging out with friends, and waiting for my boyfriend to get back from Iraq. <33
How much longer is he in Iraq? There is a program called Heroes4Heroes. The link is in my signature. They send care packages of comic books, multimedia, etc. over to the troops. You should sign him up!
I learned to sew by trial and error. Mostly error.
Cat, we are so spread out it would be impossible to get us together.
He doesn't have that much longer to go. One more month! Thanks for telling me about that. I signed him up on H4H, but I'm not sure if they'll send it in time for him to get it before having to come back. I wish I'd have known about it before, he'd love it.
Seriously, I'd have a lot of puncture holes in my hands. XD
Hello everyone... sorry I have not posted for a while. Lot's going on. But I'm back. I liked the Clone Wars movie but I love the tv episodes so far. I think it's going to do well and I hope they keep it going for a long time.
Oh look . . . it's our long lost historian posting!
H4H is awesome. I've actually got a box that I'm getting ready to ship over to Iraq to a specific camp. I just need to get the Chaplain's name so he can be the hero. My brother-in-law did a ToD over there as a chaplain so I'd like to honor him by sending it to whoever is there in his place.
I have a pain in my neck . . . and no it isn't Luis.
I hate Pain!!!! Tomorrow is Tucson's very first Comic Con. Here's to hoping it is a success.
