    just kidding. Kind of. :p

    Hope everyone's doing well. :)

    Here's to the spring.

And Jada... my sister lives in Hilton Head with her husband and daughter. It's an absolutely wonderful place. Did you guys by chance swing around and check out the wildlife refuge?

Yeah went to Heroes (Could not do both $ too tight) had friends with me and little son who wanted to meet Grant Gould (How to draw Star Wars Book). Was a lot of fun but missed you guys. Stopped by the 501st table and talked with Mara Jade for a couple of minutes to ask if anyone else was coming or just sticking to ConCarolinas. Maybe next year Heroes will stick to weekend they normally do and not mess with CC's.

It didn't really effect our attendance. We had about 1325. Broke last year's record.

It was a good con this year. I worked some of my buttocks off but alas my butt is still not smaller. :p

Bill Blair was one of our media guests and he is a super nice guy.

Did I mention we had a Yip Yip there?

STARDOG it is too fun having you back. Heck, I'd love for you to go to CV! But hopefully we'll meet up soon.

Are you still in your band? Now that a lot of places are smoke free I can go to them. :D

Hey folks, just kind of letting you know that I've been very preoccupied with my very sick dog. She developed Cushing's disease and diabetes from a prolonged course of prednisone.

Yes, I didn't know that was possible. I've always thought prednisone was the devil because of what it did to me and also because of what I'd seen it do to my child and children of some of my friends (thank you asthma!).

It is tragic. My husband saw Iceobel's eyes for the first time really yesterday and he said it made him sad that they were so cloudy. But she is adapting. She's finding her way around and I'm so proud of her. Now to get her moving more so her muscles don't atrophy.
