I'll be moving to Gastonia next year living in extremely close proximity with TK-2970

I'm very active in my fan force and try to help them with charity events.

I like hockey (Go Rangers, boo Devils) and I like some movie series a guy named George Lucas made. What is that called again?

I was out to visit in late July and I liked the area. I'm currently scouting out schools for my daughter (she's in elementary school).

 

I don't know how Gastonia schools are but be thankful she won't be in Charlotte-Meck. schools.

 

Most likely she'll be going to private school.

Now if they would get me their packet of info. I want to check out their math program. The school where Wenchette* is now is using a program I hate. Bring back Saxon Math!

Also, the school I'm looking at sounds almost Montessori in nature and that is something that would be good for her. She is a free spirit. Don't know where she gets it from



* - I refer to my daughter as Wenchette online because I used to go by the name Sith_Wench.

It was during WiseGate and as jada_marnew I opened my mouth and inserted a rather foot.

I had to create an account to communicate with someone and there was a Jedi_Wench account in the Phoenix Fan Force. I had been thinking about creating a Sith_Wench account and so I did and then went with it for awhile.

 

I never heard it, actually.

 

Really? I thought you knew the whole story. Once I created that account I kept going back and forth between them. I would get "special" requests to bring out Sith_Wench. I went with that name for awhile but then bagged it. Too many people took the Wench part to mean something other than "coarse waitress"

 

Hey, Dark_Lady_Jade. I notice you mention about Montessori school. May I suggested Anami Montessori School. I attend there when I was little & I love it. Plus, the woman who teach there when I attend there still work at the school. Even now she the Administration(sp?) or something at the school. Give that school a try.

 

That will depend on where it is located. If it is more than a 15 minute drive, it isn't happening. We are both creatures of laziness and not morning people

 

Ok. The street it around is "Archdale Dr.". It close to downtown & SouthPark area.

 

Since we will be in Gastonia that sounds a bit far. Like I said, we are creatures of laziness.

If I could homeschool her I would but neither one of us has the temperment to do homeschooling. She is far to social and she and I just clash when it comes to me teaching her. Amazing since I teach Aquatics. But I have long recognized and told people that I can explain things in only so many ways and if they don't get it then they can't learn from me.
