And Chewie would be so badass it would be beyond mortal comprehension- I mean, even WITHOUT the Force it took a kriffin' moon to do him in. You make him a Jedi, and it's gonna take the end of the universe to kill him or something!

Any of you read Jag's comment on that combination (though it was only Han and the Force by then)? "It's a good thing your father isn't a Jedi. Han Solo with Force powers would be a very frightening thing."

I just got gifted the 2001 Han and Chewie action figure set and if it weren't a rather large box I would sleep with it under my pillow <3

Hello, fellow Chewie fans. Our beloved Wookee is returning in the last episode of Star Wars The Clone Wars. I am looking forward to seeing him again. Wouldn't it be great if we got to see Young Han Solo in the future?

 

Gave in and watched the two TCW episodes a few days ago. Good stuff with Chewie there.

 

So, was Chewie a badass in TCW? I missed it, sadly. I havent been keeping up much at all since Ive been so busy. But did Chewie get any action?!

Sooo...thoughts on Chewie in TCW?

 

Dave Filoni confirmed that Han Solo will NOT be in TCW. He says that he likes the idea of the audience being introduced to Han in ANH.

 

definitely good to know han won't be appearing in TCW. just really wouldn't fit AT ALL.

 

In the trailor for SW CW, does anyone see any sign of Chewie? I hope he returns.

 

Not from what I saw. I really doubt he'll come back.

 

IMHO, though, he was used really well. Basically, they had to throw in Chewie to give the Padawans a chance- that's the feeling I got from watching the fights in those episodes.

And when Chewie came in swinging... I admit, I fanboysquealed a little. It was great to finally see that fabled Wookiee strength onscreen without the constraints of being a guy in a suit.

 

The Wookiee-Trandoshan melee combat looked a bit awkward IMO. But yeah, Chewie was a badass.

 

This is really one of those times when TCW is a very good thing- the medium allows it to show off things that couldn't really be accomplished with live-action or whatever. Another instance would have to be the inclusion of blurrgs in the Ryloth episodes- when they'd last been seen in stop-motion animated form in Ewoks: Battle for Endor back in the '80s.

And all those old Cantina aliens, too! See, I love seeing these things brought more to life. Chewie getting to be an on-screen badass relying on that famous strength of his was one of them.

What do you think Han Solo might be like as a Jedi? Han plus the Force equals dangerous to me.
