I am writing a fan fic on that very topic actually.

 

Ever heard of Chew Broccoli and Ham Solo? They are from Grocery Store wars; one of the funniest films I've ever watched.

 

Room for one more Chewie/Han enthusiast?

 

Han and Lando really had a great friendship, in my opinion. They seem to have a lot of fun together from what I've read in novels. In ESB and ROTJ, Lando really proved what a true friend he was to Han by helping the others rescue him. Your thoughts?

 

He did kind of freeze him in carbonite though. I mean, he could have given Han a wink when he met, lke "*wink wink* Han, how are you doing old buddy *under breathe* Empire, run. *ahem*

I agree with you, Jammy. Lando could have warned Han in some way about the Empire showing up. Maybe he just feared Darth Vader too much to do so.

So, let's start off with a really good discussion topic. This person is often forgotten, but he was great friends with Chewie and Han. Lando.

Lando was smart, and he was extremely humorous, and quite a lady's man. " Ya old smoothy," as Han called him.



In ESB, when his deal with the Empire went from bad to worse, I felt sorry for him. Of course, Chewie and Leia didn't. I thought poor Lando would die by chewie's hand, but thanks to C3PO, he was spared. Lando proved that he never meant for Han to be frozen and turned over to the Bount Hunter, when he became part of the attempt to rescue his old friend.

I'll say mor about Lando a bit later. Now, it's your turn. What are your thoughts on Lando, and his deal with the Empire?

 

My favorite Han and Chewie movie moment was in Episode 4 when the group ran into the stormtroopers on the Death Star and Han and Chewie charged them and forced the stormtroopers to run and the whole chase after that was one of my favorite parts of the movie

I would like to join, too, please! I am big fan of Han and Chewie from way back.

I'll try to add to the discussion here: ahh, smooth Colt 45 Lando... saved by 3PO. I think if Han ever found that one out, he would never let Lando live it down. I still think Lando could've done more when they first landed to tip them off, but then maybe he was sulking because he wasn't invited to party with the Stones the night before.

 

What if C-3PO saved Han? That would be mind-blowing

 

I can't think about that. I have to believe Chewie would somehow get there first to get the job done...... Of course - and it truly pains me to say this- there is the whole Ewoks worshipping 3PO as a god and 3PO flying around (with Luke's help) in order to convince the Ewoks not to BBQ Han. So he did... from a certain point of view.

 

Well I meant in actual combat or by the Falcon.
