It also has a picture of the craft, which can be found in SWGamer#7 as the opening picture for Red Sky, Blue Flame. Also found in Gamer5 are stats for the Charric blasters. Tip of the Day: When facing a Chiss with a charric, be sure you are not wearing metallic armor. Otherwise you'll be having a shocking day.

I'm here. I don't think we know anything about the social life of Chiss. They seem rather secretive, and I don't think they would give that sort of information away. However, due to their rules about "no attacking first" I'd say they were very conservative. Hence, no , no abortions, no divorces.
I like to avoid the abortion and homosexuality issues since they tend to go off topic and cause flame wars. I'm saying this from experiance, mind you. And on the other issues: From other fans that I have talked to, they have concluded that the Chiss society is much like Japan in some ways. For Example: Family Honor and Exile. According to the article in Gamer5, exile is considered the far most worse punishment that can be inflicted on a criminal since family is so important to them. Also, I think Japan was divided up into several houses that took care of things: foreign affairs, military, etc. Not sure exactly.
i think you refer more to the old Samurai code of Japan. i can see a lot of similarities now that you've brought it up. most species in any form of novel are usually made from a human customs, religions and the like with a few twists.
ok so can we jsut go there and start a new thread or do we have to get approval. you guys know more about Chiss structure than i do so could someone make up a kind of herarchial structure covering military, Ia etc that we could use for the RP.
You can start a Chiss RP anytime in the RPF board. Just whatever you do, do not create a kazillion threads revolving around the main RP, otherwise you'll get it locked.

Well, one person can be the GM who tells the story and makes sure the players don't wander to far away from the RP. What we need is a story background. Some roles to play. Etc. To get an idea on what to do see "Role Playing 101" and "The Darkside Beckons". Syrix base his off of D&D. I took mine from SWGamer mags.
