I wouldn't be surprised to see Becks as part of a post-AEG Galaxy ownership group, at some point down the road.

I think that short term, he'll be in China or Australia. Probably China.

Much better choice there than the Grown Ass Man as Comeback Player of the Year. Eddie Johnson had a great year, no doubt, but what exactly did he come back from?

I think that the term "comeback" needs to be clearly defined. I like the award itself, even if it isn't a major one.

 

Don't look now, but San Diego's professional soccer club is nearing in on a title in Mexico. Club Tijuana notched a 2-1 victory over juggernaut Toluca last night, meaning they need to only protect that lead in the Final on Sunday. It'd be a real historic feat for the Xolos, who are in only their second season in top-flight Mexican soccer. Not to mention the American influence on the team - not just the location but Edgar Castillo and Joe Corona are regular starters for the Xolos, and Greg Garza is a youth prospect for the USMNT.

The timing of that goal is awful for Galaxy. Just awful. Need to come our with aggression to start second half. Dynamo better team in possession, so LA are in need of chances and finishing.
