SWRPF Archive The Clone War (A Six Week RPG)

IC (as Will Extriman):

The N-1 group emerged from hyperspace in orbit of Geonosis. They quickly identified the ships that were firing on the arena. Three Trade Federation control ships, one of which was the Confederacy Flagship.

Full squadron, enhance shields and power up weapons systems. Yellow leader said over the squadron comm frequency. All ships log in. he said again.

Yellow 6, at hand. Will said over the comm, identifying himself as present.

With the entire group prepared for battle, Yellow squadron approached the Confederacy Flagship.....

IC (as Obi-Wan Kenobi):

Drawing away from yet another blast of laser fire, Kenobi leaped back into the air and landed on the balcony. He ignited his lightsaber again, holding the blue blade to Boba Fett's neck and yelling out to his DNA squalling father, Jango.

"Hey! Jango! JANGO!" he shouted, catching the bounty hunter's attention.....

 

Mace Windu was standing on the balcony, overlooking the battle. The droids were destroying the jedi. More and more droids kept on comeing and fewer and fewer jedi still were standing. Mace saw Kit Fisto leap down into a pack of SBDs and chop them all in two. He noticed that Padme and Koon, in the center of the arena, were being surrounded by droids. Mace dropped onto the head of a droid, hopped to another and another, until he made it to the middle. He stood completely outnumbered, with numerous other jedi deflecting lazer blasts.

IC: "What now?" Saesee Tiin asked Mace, deflecting laser blasts, and killing a few droids.

"Where are those clones?!?" Tiin cried in frustration.

 

OOC: Sorry for my absence guys, Holidays are a Time-Killer. I will read up on that has happend, and post later today or early this evening

 

OOC: Hey that can not be helped...

IC: Dooku jumped from balcony to balcony, trying to see where Mace Windu had gone, then finally, he noticed him. Mace had been in the center of the arena. Dooku grinned then sliently walked into the battle. His lightsaber at hand. This time he could taste victory!

 

Thousands of battle droids had pushed the Jedi into the center of the arena. Coleman Trebor and a few other Jedi's were all that remained. If help did not come soon, the Jedi would be finised.

 

OOC: Here we go! Week 2! (Note: It's Monday here in Aussie Land )

IC (as Obi-Wan Kenobi):

Seeing that Jango did not see the danger Boba was in, Obi-Wan abandon his plan to use the child and leaped off of the balcony and into the middle of the arena. He chopped up 3 SBDs and slashed 4 Battle Droids as he made his way into the inner circle that the Jedi had made. It was almost hopeless...

Then he felt it once more. That feeling. The hundreds of thousands of identical ripples in the Force, all getting closer and closer and closer...

And then it hit him. Yoda and Clones... he thought, deflecting laser bolts and sending two droids flying. We're saved...

IC (as Will Extriman):

They had split up into three groups, four pilots on every Trade Federation ship. It seemed hopeless enough, but they continued on.

Will swirved around the curverture of his assigned ship's hull, firing with his allies on the main deflector shield. The ship was then notified of outside interference, sending out two squadrons of droid starfighters.

Here we go! Will shouted over his comm, heading on the trail of one of the droids.

He blew it out of the sky with ease. Just like the simulators back home, he thought. He took out another one, going in to help his friends.

Yellow 6, you have two on your tail. he heard over the comm. Indeed, two droid starfighters had picked up him while he was preoccupied.

He dived sharply, looping up and turning on the spot, putting the dull "radio-controlled" fighters out of position and in Will's line of fire.

Two quick shots from the duel laser cannons on his N-1 and they were reduced to space dust.

The others were doing quite nicely on their ships, with one squad already beginning to blow up their Trade Federation ship.

He took out three more droid fighters before he saw, in the background, the flash of light from an explosion. It was a Trade Federation ship.

One down, two to go. He turned up his speed a bit and headed back towards the deflector shield. A droid starfighter blocked his path, firing its own lasers and rocking Will's N-1, knocking his proton shots off target and blowing up a small section on the side.

He looped around, taking out the starfighter with him, when he noticed that he was alone. All of his teammates were gone, blown away by droid fighters.

He grew angry, his fingers pushing the firing controls repeatedly, creating more explosions in the sky from blowing up droids.

There was another large flash of light, another explosion in the distance. Two down, one to go.

He was hoping for the other squad's to come over and help him, but they had apparently been killed as well. He was all alone, to destroy an entire Trade Federation ship.

Count Dooku's flagship in fact. But Will didn't know that, nor did he care. The only thing on his mind was revenge. Revenge for his freind's death.

He pummelled the deflector sheild with his last proton torpedoes, reducing the ships protection to a bare minimum.

Then he saw his sensors go crazy. Hundreds of gunships showed up on his scanner. Afraid it was backup, Will did the only thing he knew how to do at a time like this. We became victorious.

He turned his ship around, positioned himself directly infront of the command deck, and fed his thrusters full speed.

He crashed right into the deck.

Had Will only known that the ships on his scanner were not Trade Federation ships, but Republic gunships on their way to save the Jedi in the arena, he may have survived....

Padme looked around, hopless. She heard a loud noise an looked up.


ooc:Some one else post whats happening now.

 

OOC: I thought that Yoda and the Clones don't come until Monday?

 

It is Monday, in Australia.

 

Aayla saw the clones coming down with Master Yoda in one of the ships as well. Still fighting, Aayla had given some orders for the clones to go to certain areas and fight off the droids.

Spinning and running, Aayla found a battle droid with a very different looking head than the others. Aayla shrugged and kept battling the droids.

 

Kenobi looked up and saw the brilliant red skyline of Geonosis packed with Republic gunships.

So that was what it was.. Kenobi said to himself. Yoda not only got the Clone army, he brought an entire arsenal of weapons too!

Suddenly, all was beginning to go well for Kenobi and the Jedi.....

 

IC: As Jango Fett:

Jango spun around and shot off a few rounds from his twin blaster pistols. He Nailed one of the numurous Jedis that were fighting in the Arena. He had almost killled 7 of them, but no matter how many he did kill it would never make up for the loss of his comrades back on Gilidran.
He ran and placed his back aginst a piller. Quickly ejecting the blaster packs in his pistols, he reloaded them. He flung each one up, and the outer tip clicked back into place. He was about to thrust forward, when he looked back up to the Balcony form which he had descended. He noticed several men stood within it...Jedi.

He ran forward, and thrust upward and activated his Jetpack. He soared through he air, and as he went up, he could see that several Jedi now held the Balcony, and a battle was being fought. He landed on the edge of the balcony and shouted "Boba"!

 

Lt. 359 Blue, was the first line of defence for the battling Jedi, 6 Gunships now surrounded the Remaining Jedi that stood in the middle of the arena.

He was in command of the troopers and the 6 gunships, "Hurry!" Master Yoda called as he waved to the Jedi. L358B jumped out of the first Gunship, he would stay there until every last jedi was safe and escaping with the Gunships. Other clone troopers followed his lead, they shot down battle droids and super battle droids with their DC-15 Clone Blaster Rifle.

They ran forwards to greet the Jedi, "Master Kenobi, I'm L359B, Commander of my squad... Sorry were late." he said as he stood before Master Kenobi and the others. "Were here to see you all get out safely."

 

Several of the guship's blasts nearly nicked Dooku, as he ran for Master Windu. He was not about to lose this war and his mission to some cloned android armies. He turned and then realized that the Ranok was hot on his trail. He used the force and jumped over the creature then as the creature turned back around, Dooku threw his Lightsabe, nailing it between its eyes, causing the creature to fall.
Dooku ran back to retrieve his saber, then went once more towards his intendd target.
Mace...

 

Suddenly there was a flash of green, and a the vibrant buzz of a light saber, difflecting Dooku?s intended target. It was Yoda!

?Been along time it has,? said Yoda slightly sly towards Dooku, ?My young Padawan... though old and ugly you have grown.?

Yoda then spit out his grima stick, and readied his light saber.

 

"Ah...Master Yoda, killing you will bring me much pleasure. I will saver this moment for all times." Dooku replied as he ignited his red lighsaber, then charged.
Yoda flipped once then kicked Dooku to the ground. Dooku stood and turned only to get hit once more by Yoda's quick ninja like reflections.
"Powerful you may be Master Yoda, but, I am even more so powerful then you." Dooku said as he lifted his hands. The arena began to shake and rattle. Soon, one after another each pillar fell out of its place, and were thrown towards Yoda's direction.

 

Poggle hovered over to where he was directly above Obi-Wan, then ignited the lightsaber he had taken from a dead Jedi. The big bug stopped flapping and dropped straight down...faster...faster...lightsaber blade pointed straight at the head of Kenobi....

As the Jedi fled for the gunships, Sev'rance felt her heart sink. Not only were the Jedi escaping, but they had brought reinforcements as well.

She pulled out a comlink and tried to call the flagship in orbit. After recieving no response, she placed another call to the underground headquarters for the entire droid army to be mobilized and sent in to battle the Clone horde.

A circling gunship caught Sev'rance's attention. She lifted one hand and dealt the craft a swift blast of Force lightening. The ionized circuits of the craft caused it to collapse to the ground, smashing several battle droids beneath it. She leapt into the craft and removed the heads of three clonetroopers. The pilot was disposed of by a tug on his spinal cord, paralyzing him. The Chiss climbed into the cockpit and continued rebooting the systems, noticing that the pilot had already begun the procedure. The engines sputtered to life, and the repulsorlits pulled the front of the craft up enough so that it would be pointing at the gunships still overhead.

A missile fell into place, and a gunship full of Jedi moved into the targeting crosshairs. The missile launched out of the bay, spiraling towards its target...

 

?Ah, destroy arena you are, kill me you will? Yoda said as a giant pillar began to fall atop of him, Yoda shrugged, lifted his right hand, and the pillar was gently pushed to the side.

?Much to learn you still have...? Yoda then jumped, kicking Dooku in the face before he can do his freaky voodoo of the collapsing arena. ?Make me open a can of whoop tussie on you, I will.?

Yoda then ignited his green light saber, using his small size to his advantage he jumped left and right, up and down, screaming a bloody war cry.

 

OOC: I know how it sounds just had to add a little humor in there...Sorry but I could not help it...lol

IC: As Yoda attempted to swing his Lightsaber at Dooku, Dooku held out his hand and hld him back a few meters.
"Scary you may be Yoda...but isn't that your apperentice you just smushed?"

 

Yoda stopped mid step. ?Eh.....? he looked to the fallen pillar, squinted his eyes slightly, then said:

?No Jedi species that is, no, Nute Gunray it is, yes, flat as a pancake he his, turtle soup he has become.? Yoda shook his head, and easily deflected any blows from his adversary.

 

OOC: Ewww!! he will not be in Episode 3. Lol, okay allow me to continue normally...

IC: "I never like him anyway! Dooku replied as he jumped over Yoda and threw a quick back blow to Yoda's head. Though Yoda blocked and used the force to push Dooku down on the ground.
"Nice..Very Nice Master Yoda...But, this is but the begining." Dooku replied using th efrce to relase one more Pillar. Now the arena had become very un-safe. And began to wobble.
Dooku used the free pillar to knock a large hole through the wall of the arena and stepped inside.
Yoda slowly following after.

 

?Wait.... old and decrepit I am, stubby little legs these are.? Yoda slowly wobbled after Dooku, but to no avail, ?Fine... use your height against me you will, fight again, we shall.?

By now Dooku was well away from Yoda, who was to lazy at the moment to use the force, ?Find you I will, hide and seek this is.?

Yoda searched for Dooku for several more hours, but Dooku disappeared in the many catacombs of Geonosis.

 

Dooku sat behind a large tomb hiding, his eyes covered, giggling. To him this truely was a Sith and Jedi game of hide and go seek.
"He'll never find me here..." Dooku replied as he hid. But, rather did he know Yoda gave up the search hours before.

 

Kenobi sensed a tremor in the Force and ducked, just missing an attack from a lightsaber.

A lightsaber?[/b] Kenobi thought, wondering why another Jedi would take a swing at him. Then he realized it was no Jedi, but Poggle the Lesser.

"Poggle!" he shouted, getting into a battle stance. Their would be no contest in a lightsaber battle, considering Poggle had no training with one. Perhaps, Kenobi thought,I should try and subdue him, so that justice may be served later..

He raised his saber into the air and thrust downward, trying to take off Poggle's right, slimy arm...
