The Battle of Hypori

Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi's clone army has emerged victorious after vicious fighting on the separatist world of Muunilist. San Hill, the leader of the Inter-Galactic Banking Clan has been taken into Custody.

General Daakman Barrek has contacted Kenobi but has been killed on Hypori by the droid army leader General Grievous. The enemy has surrounded the six surviving Jedi in the Ruins of a Republic lander. Grievous then killed Sha'a Gi.

Ki-Adi-Mundi, Shaak Ti, Aayla Secura, K'krukh and Tann Sier battled Grievous and Tann was slain. The General wounded Shaak, Aayla and K'krukh and master Mundi uses one of Grievous's spare lightsabers against the droid's three. The evil leader then pounces upon him....


Ki Adi Mundi continued to battle General Grievous. Although he wasn't a force user, the droid general could still jump swiftly among the ruins parrying the jedi master's attacks. The three lightsabers he wielded span furiously about him, slicing through the metal wreckage.

Suddenly, there were two more familliar hums in the darkness and two bright blue flashes zoomed into the combat. It was Aayla and Shaak. Grievous was now desperately trying to make sure the jedi were tied up with the three swords he held. All of the Jedi used their powers to send Grievous flying through a wall and into his droid legions.

The three found the injured K'krukh and carried him up to the bridge of the cruiser. They then tried to contact Coruscant but it was too far. General Kenoi had already left Muunilist and the nearest available units were in the Mirgoshir system, on the planet Agamar. This was where General Plo Kpon was commanding and they succeeded in getting through.

"General Koon, this is General Ki-Adi-Mundi on the world of Hypori. We request back-up. The droid army commander has killed several of our number and destroyed the army. we are hiding in the ruins of the command ship. We need aid fast!" Was the message that they sent to Agamar. They then hurried to the hangar of the ship where they found some clone troopers seeking refuge in several AT-TEs docked with a LAAT-C.

They devised an escape plan. The gunship would fly up to an opening in the ship, it would head towards the ground and deposit an AT-TE in the middle of the droid army. the gunship would drop gas canisters and escape behind the smoke. It would collect the real AT-TE and fly off intot he wilderness to get rescued.

Everybody rushed to their stations. The gunship took off with the first walker. The jedi jumped into the second walker and it was carried off. Grievous then sent a detachment of beak wings out to find the gunship. the clones had blew up the gunship however so that it looked like it had crashed. Th droid general smirked and thought the battle was won....but it was far from won.

An explosion rocked the ground as several Acclamator Cruisers dropped from the clouds, spillign gunships full of clones. AT-TEs and SPHA-Ts decimated the droid army's ranks. Grievous mounted a speeder bike and flew off to his secret command centre where he boarded a Techno Union starship. Master Koon deployed his ARC troopers to find the lost jedi and retreived them safely. The ship lifted off again and entered hyperspace, bound for Coruscant.

 

Reads a little like a plot summary but that makes it move faster.

Quite enjoyed it. Makes a change to have all-action rather than introspection.

although i have numbered the series, this is just a prologue that has nothing to do with the main story, a bit liek mace windu on dantooine in clone wars cartoon
