In a hungover state lying on the couch Sunday arvo i happened to flick to cartoon network and catch the last 15-20 mins of Clone Wars.

Would have been wicked if i'd known it was on

SFL you should get a copy so we can watch when im up in May for Ep3...

I don't really rate that cartoon and I don't think I can get the entire set of episodes.

i just watched a few last night courtesy of big daddy DG, very cool... i love all the refreneces to the OT.
don't wanna give too much away but the JC 'ceremony' scene is really neat.

I have seen some, and they suck.

I'd rather watch Samurai Pizza Cats/Snorks/Smurfs or any old skool cartoon over anyday.

 

though I cant really say I like the style I like the series - just cause its star wars I guess.

I like the format and the style, the creator of clone wars is also responsible for another modern classic samurai jack. and if you'd prefer to watch the smurfs all power to ya!

the clonewars series will be aired on cartoon network from 8pm 14/05 in its entirety.

 

Wasn't this supposed to be coming out on DVD at some stage? You'd think now would be the perfect time, with RotS hype and all.

 

NZ is unfortunately quite unsatisfying when it comes to releasing DVD's.
Things that aren't in the "top 20" tend to take too long if I want them.
Collectors Editions come out late or never. etc.
It's impossible to find eps I & II here now.

If I can't find DVD's I want here I tend to get them from www.DVDSoon.com.

I have the first season on CDR. Was in 20 episodes?

Anyway I'll happily trade you season 1 for season 2 on CDR - PM me to sort it out.

I bought the offical DVD in the UK ... the transfer is really good, and the sound is far superior to the downloads off the Star Wars site. It's just a shame that they didn;t wait 'til the end of the 3rd season and put everythingon one disk.

 

I don't like the animation its really poor. Why didn't they get someone decent to draw it? They may as well neck themselves. Geese.
