Did Bane get caught offscreen to accommodate Deception??

 

Yes. It's implied Bane got caught specifically to get to Eval.

 

I'd say more than implied - after all Bane is charging a fee to get Eval out. I just wonder if Dooku or Eval hired him - and if Eval, how he managed to do so.

 

I guess he got his one phone call.

I've been rewatching Season 3, and goddamn it, this episode order thing has me terribly confused, with Senate Murders from the second season suddenly being like the last episode to happen and the Holocron heist is happening before Ziro escapes but Bane's droid died and ARRGGGHHHHHHHHH

So as you probably already know, it's utterly confusing, and now I'm starting to wonder the hell about Season 4 and where everything fits in there.

So does anyone have an updated list for chronology including all the Season 4 episodes (just assuming for the moment that the final two episodes are grouped with the last two that aired)?

 

I say Massacre should be right after or shortly after "Witches of the Mist". To me that episode felt like the real climax to the Nightsisters arc.

 

I'll certainly watch them together from now on.

 

I'm looking forward to doing that, but I'm definitely going to wait for the entire current arc to be finished.

 

I wouldn't place it right after Witches of the Mist, because she said she's been in hiding. And Dooku stated that it was time for him to get revenge, which again implied some time had passed. Plus, I'm sure it would have taken Savage Opress a lot of time to find his brother, so it makes sense to say this arc happens a while later in year two of the Clone Wars.

 

Chronologically though, it doesn't have to happen right afterwards. Ventress does say she's been away for a while after her fight with Dooku.

 

I would like to see a filler episode which shows how Boba, Bossk and Embo escaped from the gulag, because it kills me to see them out with no explanation.


Which episode had the power grid blackout on Coruscant? I forgot why the Seps did that. I figured they would use this diversion to free the Seperatist leaders, but I don't think anything came of it.

So, here at last, will be the actual order of events in the Clone wars. I'll be very interested to see how they eventually lay it all out for us.

I am very glad they are doing this. They could have easily gone ahead and aired it in original order, no one would really have batted an eyelash, but this is great, so far this is fitting nicely into the timeline I had imagined.

 

It has begun!

 

Its going to be worth it to keep up with a syndicated airing just to follow the episodes in order.

My retcon is that they have a dynasty that can only take power in times of great crisis and then they step down. Does Lucas still buy into the whole philospher king idea by the way?
