The fact that "The Batman" gots nominated made me lose all respect to the Annie award...well done! [face_plain]

"Older Star Wars fans loathed The Clone Wars, George Lucas' movie 'toon about prequel-era Obi-Wan and Anakin. At least the TV spin-off is decent; definitely more suspenseful and character-centric than the bombastic pilot flick. Its target audience ? kids ? will dig it. And middle-aged haters will hate it a little less. B+?Jeff Jensen"

I've heard that this is a lot better than the theatrical release, with more action and less dialog. I certainly hope so, because otherwise, this'll be pretty bad. Clones = good. Skyguy = Bad.

I'm optimistic about this. It'll be nice getting a weekly dose of Star Wars.

Last week's episode, Rookies, was an excellent episode. This one doesn't look nearly as good, unfortunately.

Depends on how they play it; it might highlight Anakin's attachment issues.

Don't get me wrong; R2 is awesome. But he's basically a sentient computer that most Jedi-heck, most regular people-wouldn't blink an eye at losing.

    Oh the horror...Jar Jar!

When I saw the preview last week it looked like they are going to try and make him even more comical than he already is (if that is even possible).

The episode has two things going for it:

    1) 3PO apparently treats Jar Jar like the fans do

    2) It's written by our own Kevin Rubio, of "TROOPS" and "Tag & Bink are Dead" fame.

Kevin Rubio is my hero so I'm sure he won't mess it up.
