As to the first: her type of droid (and maybe even that particular unit) was in the cut scenes of ROTS and served Bail.

As to the second: Be glad you missed it.:p

Honestly, it was probably one of the worst Anakin/Padme romance scenes in existence. I didn't think they could get any worse. And whereas I usually like the new Anakin model and voice actor, I found myself cringing during that scene. Basically he gives Padme his lightsaber since it's the most important symbol of his being a ma-- I mean, Jedi, and Bail walks in on them both before she's able to give it back so she just hides it.

I loved this epsiode. Cad Bane is awesome, I want an action figure of him! Also, Dave Filoni was right. This epsiode was a bit more violent than the previous episodes. Cad snapping the Republic gaurd's neck and killing that one senator in front of all the other senators kind of shocked me. But anyways, this episode was a great end to a great season of The Clone Wars!

I just don't get it. First people complain that they want to see more villians other that Ventress, Grievous, and Dooku. And then when we get a new villian, people complain that they should have put in one of the other used villians. What the heck is up with that?

Some people are just never satisfied.

I still haven't seen it yet, since iTunes hasn't uploaded the episode yet.

I never claimed to want more villians. My preference would be to work with the excellent villians they already have (Sidious, Tyranus, Ventress and Grevious). These characters have a critical impact on the Clone Wars. I'd rather see the writers show the harsh realities of war: Lives are loss, Relationships are broken, deceit and mistrust have spread. Instead we get gimmicky bounty hunters and pyscho doctors. These episodes had their cool moments, but they have nothing to do with The Clone Wars.

He wasn't over the top. He snapped a guy's neck and shot a guy in the back. Those are things any human can do. Dooku and the rest are still technically more powerful. The brutality in Star Wars is new.

What did Boba Fett, Dengarr and the others have to do with the Original Trilogy? People are acting like this is the first time bounty hunters have ever been used in Star Wars!

First people complain about the villains being too weak now they're complaining about them being too strong!

On a plot level they used Bane because as an independent system he could get to Coruscant more easily. Any member of the Separatist forces would have trouble getting to the very heart of the Republic.

^^^^ people will find something to complain about...

Anyway I loved this episode!!! Cad Bane reminded me of a old western bad guy...awsome!!!loved the A/P moment!gave me a lot more insight on them.[face_love] I didn't mind Anakin being slow since the Jedi are not suppused to be superhumans & emphasizes the whole of the lightsaber being a Jedi's life. I thought the protestors against the war line was really cool...hope they expose more of the political aspect in the upcoming season; it was interesting that the senators being held hostsge are the ones that oppose Palpy...wich makes me think he was awere of the(even though it seems like he wasn't invollved) braking in all along maybe because it is convinient for him that Ziro was somehow freed & who ever did so would kill some of those who opposed him (afer all, he is controling the two sides of the CW)wich Bane might have gotten away with had Anakin not been there. This was the first I saw Ziro since I haven't seen the CW movie yet;I found him annoying and funny at the same time. Over all it was a good season finale!:)

Guys, we CANNOT allow links to the TCW episodes on YouTube, torrent sites, et cetera. Not allowed. I know you mean well, but we just can't do it. Thanks, G_M.

At the beginning, Bane instructs them to get rid of the bodies and to put on the slain Senate Guard uniforms and to keep the platform Bane's speeder was parked at clear. You can see at least one of them still on the platform doing that task as Orn is escorted by the IG droid to the speeder.

They're no longer on the platform when the gunships arrive, but you can see a secondary speeder flying alongside Bane's speeder in the next scene after he flies away, and it looks like the droids, san the disguises, are piloting it.

I think the cartoon grew up a bit. First of all, I thought the acting was very good on this one. Well, voice acting at least. Cad Bane was very convincing. I enjoy how he wasn't a 'monologue' kind of villain, but a bit sassy, when he was like, "Everybody quiet! I've got a call to make." That part made me laugh. It was also enjoyable seeing all but one of the group of bounty hunters survive.

I thought the use of a bit of violence was fine. Cad Bane snapping the clone's neck was just a sign that he meant business.

I love Ziro. I think he's a great villain. He's whole personality makes perfect sense. And why people need to suggest that a genderless slug alien is homophobic, gay or anything like that is beyond me. Sure his voice and mannerisms are based on a real life gay man, but what lick of difference does that make in Star Wars? I don't get it. I'm far more accepting of Ziro than I am of the thought of Rotta, not only existing but the role he played in the movie.

Again, I liked this episode. I thought Anakin being a little subdued was a good thing. As was brought up we don't know where he got his leave from, or if it was after some major battle/event. Being weaker than the superman stuff we got most of the season was nice. It made him seem more human, and thus I cared a little bit more. The conflict in this episode actually was interesting instead of just fodder for cgi effects. I liked it.

I've actually championed the Anakin/Padme dynamic to date in TCW Season 1, but their scenes in her office were unbearaborrible.

    I understand your point.

It just turns out that the strongest performances for the villians from S1 is Bane and the mad Dr. That's not my preference.

I liked this episode a lot. It is definitely in my Top 5 favorites. Cad Bane was awesome and I cracked up when he said "Why hello there little lady". I just lost it when he said that to Padme. My parents thought I had insane for laughing so much. I have to say Cad Bane is slowly starting to become my favorite villain in the show, even bumping Asajj Ventress down a peg or two. He was just interesting and I can't wait to see more of him in Season 02. But why does it have to be such a long wait? The fall seems like so far off from now. Oh well, guess I will have to find another form of media to divulge in for the time being. Anyway loved this episode and can't wait for Season 02. Bring it on!

Great episode. Cad Bane is an interesting new character but I was more excited to see Bail Organa. Fingers crossed that we'll get an Obi-Wan / Bail trilogy in season 2.

Great season finale! I really enjoyed this one, especially after the second viewing. It had tons of good action, and Cad Bane and his bounty hunter posse were badass. He was a unique character, Corey Burton did a fastastic job making him cool and dangerous.

The Anakin and Padme scene really wasn't that bad, but it slowed the episode down a bit, otherwise the pacing was good.

Ziro! It was good to see him again, he is hilarious and brought a nice comedic edge to an otherwise dark episode.

Again, a great episode and an action-packed and edge-of-your-seat season finale to a very good first season of the Clone Wars

I know right? He was...pretty funny. He's bumped Dooku off the list. Now it's Grievous numba' one and Cad coming in on second.

    Good season finale!

Cad Bane is great. Great Eastwood-ish Italian Western gunslinger look, unique voice, ruthless precision.

Anakin seemed a little lost with his Lightsaber. Why didn't he at least catch one blaster bolt with his mechanical hand and storm at one of the Bounty Hunters or at least Force grab his blaster? Oh well, he played it safe. Guess a Jedi can do only so much.

I didn't understand the Lightsaber gift giving.

Seeing Senator Riyo Chuchi was a nice surprise. I hope they'll make an action figure of her someday along with Chairman Chi Cho.

Ziro's back! Though, unlike in the movie, I found him a little annoying at times.

Loved the look Cad Bane had on his face changing while listening to Ziro's appraisal before coming out with "Time to pay up, Hutt. I don't work for free."

I'd rather see new characters like Cad Bane, than have Tyrannus or Sideous over used and cheapened. He's surrounded by a bunch of characters we've already seen, anyway.

Did you miss the part where they come in at the end and crash through Palpatine's window? Or when that one Clone said "Oh my God." about Ziro the Hutt?

I really disagree with that guy saying Cad Bane was Galvatron. He's clearly Zartan from GI:JOE which is cool! I know I said that about Weequay pirate leader from Dooku Captured in another thread but this guy is Zartan! GI:Joe's enemy COBRA had Cobra Commander, Destro, Baroness, Stormshadow, Major Bludd and Zartan and his gang, the Dreadnoks. Nobody so far has as either "Galvatron" or his equivalent in GI:JOE, Serpentor! They both sucked.

I didn't mind Anakin giving away his lightsabre (though had to wonder if he never intended to get it back?). If he had just used the force to take it back once Padme left her quarters with Bail, it would've negated the trust he was trying to get across.

He totally reminded me of Eastwood. And yes, Cad's facial expressions are priceless.
