You never know, if he's anything like his Robot Chicken incarnation, we'll be fine.

Personally, I think they should revamp Jar Jar, possibly voiced by this guy:

"Weesa get da money! YEAAAAHH! "Falls Over"

"You know, I think I was telling it better without him."

"Ah, meesa tinkin' meesa broked my spine. Weesa not rolling are we?"

If they put Jar Jar in any bodily harm in supply lines, I'm all for it.

Just reposting this because Tommy Wiseau is the greatest bad movie actor of this generation.

Actually, screw it. Tommy should play Anakin.

"I did not choke her! Its all bull****! I did not choke her, I did NAHT . . . oh, hi Palpatine!"

"You are tearing me APART, Padme!"

Ahsoka should be Denny then . . .

    B+

    Is Anakin's voice deeper?

Great action scenes and use of multiple storylines. Anakin vs. Asajj was cool. Obi-wan vs. Grevious is in danger of getting overused and calling attention to the fact Anakin can't face him without screwing up ROTS continuity.

Still wanted an in-episode explantion for why the Seps (secretly under Palpatines control) would want to destroy all the clones. Going after the DNA was interesting, though. Does that have something to do with Order 66? Or does Palpy want to force a new clone template. I hope the show addresses/explains this a little more.

Yet again the Sep got their butts kicked, but it didn't seem so bad his time. Maybe it's because it was close, there was a strong sense of loss on the Republic's part, and the fact that the show sold it a little better in previous years with a sense of defeat on the Jedi's/Clones part for letting Grevious and Assaj get away. Or maybe it's just because I haven't seen an episode of this show for so long. haha.

99 was great in this episode and I thought they did a good job with his death. Heroic and helpful, but not cliche the way they did it. I wish the Jedi hadn't been in the episode and the clones had had to figure out a way to stop grevious and ventress on their own (if their Jedi overseer had, say, been killed). That would have been something really special, IMO, becaus I could have seriously watched a whole episode with Cody, Rex, Five, Echo , 99 and those clone cadets sneaking arund the city under Seppy control.

    Cool space battle, thugh.

Pretty much a whole bunch of awesome stuff packed into one 22 minute episode.

I wonder sometimes about the Palps/Dooku/Grievous dynamic.

How much are Palps & Dooku involved with Separatist missions? Was this planned by Sidious? Was it planned by Dooku?

I tied this to them wanting to create a bio-weapon that specifically targets clones from some of the rest of the EU.

OF course DNA from one clone might be just as good for that..........

Maybe they just figured that the Republic couldn't make any new clones if they took the DNA jar.:p

It wasn't explained what so-ever that I can remember.

Couldn't the Republic use like...a clone to clone new clones 8-} . It would still be Jango's DNA.

Not exactly, the clones' DNA was modified to make them more docile and such. Of course, that doesn't explain why that DNA isn't suitable for further cloning...

Does Ventress punch in Slick's data to get the DNA sample?

No, I think she just writes Jango's data. Kaminoans aren't expecting anyone to get in the DNA room (or she got around the defences while spying in Kamino). The holo that shows up doesn't look like Slick (hair is a bit different). By the way, Jango's number (shows in the same holo) seems to be 000001, which means the biggest number is 999.999. Is the reason for this that Kaminoans started the production at Tipoca City with one million clones (actually 999.998), and continued in other cities. Or that in this building there's less than million clones made. Or they use different counting system or something, I'm not very good in these theories.

I would think that since the clones are already copies of the original, making a copy of a copy would lead to more imperfections. Or maybe the modifications made to their genes by the Kaminoans make the clones' DNA unsuitable. Because it's been altered it might be less stable and more prone to aberrations if copied. Or maybe the Kaminoans intentionally made the clones' DNA uncopyable so no one else could make more clones since they held the original DNA - so they were protecting their 'copyright'.

Well I hope they provide further explanation for the Seppy's motives, but I wouldn't count on it. And if they do, it probably won't be very good anyway.

The one smart thing the writers did do at least was have a Republic Blockade around the planet.

Ventress is likely to get in big trouble for failing to get the DNA.

Hmm...The crew said they didn't want the Jedi to have 'trademark' abilities...but it seems that Obi-Wan has an affinity with animals the way Aquaman does. :p

Oh gods, love that poster![face_laugh] And I lol'ed when he said "We have to stop meeting like this." Anyway, Obi-Wan vs. Grievous...again. I groaned a little in the beginning, but seeing Grievous split his arms and grab Obi-Wan in the face and essentially toss him around a bit like a rag doll was pretty awesome. Of course the lightsaber duels themselves had som much fluidity to them, like watching them in live action, although they still had that stiffness that someone mentioned earlier.

The space battle was epic, all those Venators facing off against the Separatist frigates, I knew it was going to be quite a showdown(even if it was short). And I liked the moment Grievous rose from his command chair and his cape flowed out, the Kaleesh symbol on the back of it was a nice touch. Anakin...well, I expected his confident posture during the space battle and his comment to Obi-Wan about him being more worried about the ships he destroyed instead of the ones he was facing was funny.

The Grievous/Ventress interactions were just what I expected; humorous and tense, especially when Grievous grabs Ventress by the arm and insists that she have a droid escort...I was half expecting her to Force push him into the far wall but her response was just as effective. Anakin and Ventress dueling wasn't as intense as I thought it would be, you didn't see Ventress' rage boil over until the end(which to me was the best moment of their duel).

Overall, these two episodes really surprised me, not being a clone fan, they were really good and I hope to see more episodes with this level of quality and in the future.

likely the original pure sample deteriorates the more its cloned, and as the cloners run out of pure samples of genetic material taken from Jango Fett, they likely use old samples of DNA that are damaged in order to meet the demand of clones or draw on other clones whose genetic structure is modified already. It's likely easier to clone a deteriorated sample of Jango's DNA but harder to clone than a fresh one.
