Wow, the episode guide pictures can really be awkward. THis one looks like Ventress squiching a bug, from the bug's perspective. :p

Anyway, the episode sounds amazing. I'm pretty certain I'll love it, as long as it doesn't suffer from superspeed like the first two installments.

Looks like she's going to get the axe.

Wouldn't be surprised if Opress killed her in revenge for his 'brother'.

Or maybe she'll be forced to kill him, who knows.

Or no, Dooku is going to kick Opress' ass, and force him to kill Asajj.

"I sense the hatred within you. She made you kill your brother, didn't she...?"

    The preview is awesome.

This ARC has been really good, not amazing or outstanding but I've definitely enjoyed it so far. I can't wait for the finale. I just hope they don't squeeze so much into it.

    No wait wait wait

Opress is under ventress' spell to kill Dooku, but then Dooku breaks the spell by telling him Obi-Wan is the one who killed his brother Maul. So Opress is going after Obi-Wan but Ventress will stop him because she wants to kill Obi-Wan herself. But then Opress remembers that Ventress made him kill his brother Feral, so he'll fight Ventress. They'll end up killing each other right before Anakin comes waltzing in:

    "So, did I miss anything?"

    Obi-Wan: "Oh, the usual..."

I just have to point out that part in bold up there: "even more powerful than the combined forces of the Jedi and the Sith". If this turns out to be true I'll be seriously pissed off. It's enough that he's able to breeze through a squad of troopers and a couple of Jedi, but if he becomes more powerful than the Jedi and Sith combined then it's all just a big joke.

I don't know, it certainly feels like they've left too much stuff to be resolved in the last episode, which means it will probably be too fast. Sith training, Jedi investigation, Jedi confrontation

I like to think of myself tied up on a bed asking Ventress to choke me while I look at this picture.

Yeah, there we go... this is like the 'Best squad ever' in 'Clone Cadets', only times 10. Force Unleashed powers, Maul 2.0...

The Clone Wars is selling out.

I mean Opress is just such a sad thing. They're even giving him the same weapon as Maul. They don't even want him to be different. It's just such an obvious and cheap way to bring back Maul with über powers.

    Anyone have a bucket?

    (Sorry double post! My bad!)

This should be interesting. As always, even with the official site or the creators themselves, I never take anything at face value and always with a grain of salt. The actual product might prove more respectful than promotional materials which are fond of superlatives and hyperbole. :p

I'm not sure whether they plan to resolve it by killing off any of these characters. After all, the first Mandalorian arc ended in a somewhat open way, then we revisited it (yes, yes, boo, hiss, bleh, gah, poisoned tea, character derailment, nerd rage, there, back on topic!) and it still doesn't seem to be done. Could they be planning to save Savage and/or Asajj for a future plot? I'd certainly like to see more of the Nightsisters.

Also, the disturbed part of me can't help but think Ventress is trying to strangle us, the viewers. That, or shes trying to warm herself by the glow of a red lightsaber. [face_laugh]

EDIT: Speaking as someone who has not seen the theatrical screening or any spoilers regarding it, I actually don't think Savage is at TFU levels of power. If you mean his kill count, I'll grant the regular Jedi and grunts, but the main characters will probably do alright. If you mean the bit in the preview where he does something like Force Repules on a bunch of droids, I actually don't think it's too different from the time Mace Windu pushed a whole bunch of droids on Ryloth and dropped a wall on a tank. Only thing setting this apart (again, at least from the previews) is that the wave of force is visible.

If memory serves, some of us were wishing that the battle of Devaron was longer so that the Jedi victims could put up more of a fight against Savage. If so, then yes, lightsaberz is cool. :p

I'd agree that it would have been cooler symbolically (not to mention keeping with claims of its power) if they let him keep the axe. But who knows? Maybe there's a good reason why the axe is lost.

Another important point to me would be, even with the double bladed lightsaber, my hope isn't so much in the weapon but the style in which he wields it. Agility and dexterity like Maul, sure, but I do hope they keep the brutality and blunt force of Savage that we saw in his debut battle. Nevertheless, if the story and action are great, I won't mind that much, if at all, if his style ends up being Maul-in-TCW.

Aaaaaaand we are extrapolating data from minuscule pieces of information. :p

I'm calling it now: Talzin is Palpatine's ex-wife. Their scheming is similar. And involves Zabraks. Dathomirian Zabraks at that.

And who do you think Palps got Darth Maul from?:p

You know, I wouldn't mind that as long as we got a miniseries about Darth Maul and Triclops finding out they're brothers. :p

I wonder what their honeymoon was like... (try getting that image out of your head, I dare you!)

Anyway, all I'm really hoping for with this episode is a satisfying resolution. After two episodes' worth of build up, it's time for the payoff, and while I can't really say I want any specific thing to happen, I just hope that all the important plot points are resolved in one form or another.

    We'll see what happens.

I just hope this episode isn't like Lethal Trackdown: an excellent episode until the end, where it falls flat on its face.

Well i think i came up with that idea firsto_O - even though i don't think they ever married really- Sidious mystically disappeared before the wedding:p - yeah men are easy to acquire hard to control- you think Talzin just made that up? No she says it from experience[face_skull]

Holiday special is not that bad anymore- perhaps after we will see the Mortis-trilogy no one dares to bash prequels anymore[face_laugh] Looks like George really is awaiting the end of the world- since SW has been lately that wild, it really is apocalyptic- damn it we never saw liveaction tv-series then:( well it would have been CGI-filled "Lords of Mortis" anyway -if it really costs 50 million to make.....

I rather see TFU in TCW than any Wizards of Mortis- so please stop whining TFU-haters- you can see your fantasystuff after this and there has been enough of jedi and sith who can barely use the Force at all- it's ok to see someone who can

    - and it's just one Forcerepulse damn it- i didn't see any Starkiller there-

and..... we already saw how Talzin created cup and axe out of thin air so who is overpowerful?- it's not Savage....
