Bah, I just noticed that even Pursuit of Peace reached 21 pages, so we can't even be near a record. What was the record? I'm guessing it was somewhere around 24 pages or so? I don't think we ever hit 30. Or did we? I have no idea, it's been such a long time since the movie came out.

If we DID get a monkey lizard cantina scene, though, I wonder how much time would have to pass before we can laugh at a visual gag of a monkey lizard drinking tea and keeling over poisoned.

Haha I can't tell exactly how sarcastic you're being, so I'm just gonna go ahead and ask: is it that often that people don't bother to see the good things about even the worst episodes? I've never seen one that didn't have anything I liked about it...except maybe Bombad Jedi.

 

Even Bombad Jedi, IIRC, had a creature based on old Ralph McQuarrie artwork, so that's something cool about it.

It's actually not from a SW book, it just sounds like it. It's from a Michael Moorcock book which is sometimes called The Silver Warriors and appears elsewhere as Phoenix in Obsidian.

 

Dude! The Swords Trilogy has been my favorite story ever by far for years! Michael Moorcock is tied with Robert E. Howard and Edgar Rice Burroughs for my favorite author. It's great to see another fan of his here. I used to post on his message board, where he actually has an account with which he talks to and answers questions from fans quite regularly! Now that I read the quote again it seems so obvious, I should've known!

 

I used to have another sig from Stormbringer which sounded Star Warsy.

At that time, Senate Spy was panned by an overwhelming majority of LACWACers, probably the first time an episode received that poor of a response. Yes, there were some positive comments and as always, a few people that liked it, but the majority really didn't like it.

 

Well apparently you didn't bother to see the good things in Bombad Jedi, which in my opinion is one of the best TCW episodes there is. So where does that leave us?
