I hope they explain what this mist they harness as magic really is in this week's episode.

 

I reeeeally wouldn't count on it. In fact, I'm absolutely certain that won't be touched upon. Star Wars was never one to explain its devices.

 

I really hope they DON'T explain it.

 

Do you mean "Water of Life" that's the green liquid/mist there is everywhere in the village- maybe it's blood of the whills

 

Yeah, all this cool stuff happens and they stop everything and explain the water from last week's episode.

Remember Ambush?- Now Toydaria has to feel the revenge of Dooku

 

That man doesn't hurry. In season 4 we'll propably have his revenge on Hondo Ohnaka. Or then not, because he doesn't want to explain why he'd want an army to attack drunk pirates' village.

 

That wasn't Toydaria, that was Rugosa in Ambush.

 

Yes, but in that episode Dooku was angry because Katuunko allied with the Republic. Now it's time for payback.

 

I meant revenge against Katuunko- his world has to suffer from the choice he made in Ambush- why would Dooku revenge to the coralmoon anyway? ...

 

Sometimes its best to just leave things to the imagination without explaining what they are.

They took the time to explain what the Force was in TPM. That nearly ruined it. Remember in Metal Gear Solid 2 how awesome and creepy The Patriots were, when we had no idea what they were? Well that was ruined in MGS4. It'd be like Valve taking the time to fully explain who G-Man from Half Life is, which would be horrible. Instead, be subtle.

 

well Force is explained in ANH- TPM just adds midichlorians to be intermediary for the use of the Force- it's not that big change after all- Force is not told just sensitivity is..... that explains why only some people can be jedi or sith and actually OT has plothole without forcesensitivity explanation, Why Luke would be "the only hope"?- Answer: Because Wedge cannot use the Force! - With the Force that guy would have taken Empire alone- imperials cannot repel character shield of that magnitude!

 

Exactly. In TPM we actually don't get the explanation of what the Force is like we do in ANH or TESB.

 

Well, that last example I actually would like laid out plain cuz the guy is just so dang annoying. Or if we can just shoot him, that would be fine too.

Yeah, I'm perfectly fine with it just being Magic Green Mist. This is space fantasy after all, and magic is a-ok as long as there's no teleportation or time travel.

I wouldn't go that far but, yes, let's leave some mysteries to the imagination.

 

So I take it Maul comes back in a few hours?

Deep down, I'm hoping what was shown at the screenings was a sham and they reveal a completely different secret at the end.

I would find a deep new respect for the TCW crew if that were the case.

 

We might see Darth Maul return in the form of flashbacks that Obi-Wan and Anakin might experience. But physically come back? No.

I do believe we're going to see a lightsaber free-for-all tonight.

It was bad enough the last episode used Maul's name over and over, but now the Jedi know it too?!?!?! So stupid...

 

Wow great episode with some great action....Ventriss gets away though...booo!

I will reserve judgment on Maul...not sure if I like this idea or where they are going with it.
