"The ignorant man follows, the wise man leads."

After the Republic conquers an Umbaran airbase, General Krell orders Rex and his men on towards the heavily fortified capital. Realizing there's a better plan, several clone troopers disobey orders to carry out a rogue, covert operation.

I used to hate it, but after watching Fives actually say it without the helmet, I like it. :p

Forget "An army of one man, but the right man for the job.", the real Clone Trooper official motto is "That's the stuff!"

I think the more this episode focuses on the rogues, and the less on Krell, the better.

It's weird, I enjoy the clone interaction scenes, despite the fact that I remain firm in my belief that it is wrong and should not be happening considering what the clones are. I guess I can complement the crew on their ability to at least do clones right. Most of the time.

I agree that TCW takes a little too much liberty with the clones at times, but giving them personalities doesn't contradict anything in the films. Before the show aired, I thought it was odd that Cody had a name and was on a friendly basis with Obi-Wan. Now that the show has explained that, it only seems natural that over time the Jedi gave the clones personalities and a little more independence. It's not like the clones are out of control, they correctly recognize that Krell's strategies are not working and are completely counterproductive. If they had Kaminoans leading them they would still be the blank slates they were in AOTC, but being constantly pushed to think for themselves by the Jedi naturally has an effect on them.

The trailer continues with Krell's my-way-or-the-highway attitude. I certainly hope Krell expands beyond this characterization as two episodes of that has been a bit much and a third will be terribly redundant. Are we ever going to see him actually using those lightsabers for anything other than killing Umbaran wildlife?

The seen of Krell landing with his saber's lit, from the trailer, hasn't been on yet. Neither has Fives' - "Someday" - stuff either. Gotta be this one.

I dunno. They remind me of the blue Andalite morphing cube the Animorphs got their Powers from. lol.

I absolutely love these episodes! :D I love that I can happily speculate and watch an episode without worrying about aweful plotholes and cliches! I am very excited for this next one.

    Just had to.....have.....a fangasm....

Good grief; I've been so taken with these episodes I forgot that entire scene with Fives! "Someday, this war's gonna end."

Wow. After seeing what Fives and Rex have been through, that conversation is bound to be epic. I hope it's in the next episode, but I actually could see it being in the final one, too - perhaps right before Rex makes the "dark decision" regarding Krell.

Either way, I'm loving this arc.

Come on, be real. The whole "army of one man" is a bit long for a war whoop, and there's a much higher chance that you'll get killed before you finish saying the whole thing. Terrible on the morale. :p

Same here, having alot of fun with this arc. Easy days waiting for the next part. I'm hoping Fives' line will finally be coming up. I'm eager to hear what goes down after the convo in the last episode. He's got some nuts grabbing a CO by the arm like he did. I'm interested to see how far Fives can push it. Also looks like this is the one with the big space battle which should be pretty cool.
