Hey look, Embo and that Selkath. I've wondered why the Selkath in TCW are always so short. I remember the ones from KOTOR being taller than humans.

 

Fixed.

 

Lets see how far TCW pushes the envelope of violence this time.

 

Could be fun , it's like the set up for a trashy tv gameshow , half hoping newsreel announcer guy will introduce the contestants into "The Boxxxxxxxxx!!!"

How many people does Dooku need for the plot? Why hadnt sensed that Ben is force sensitive
or that he is Kenobi?

Well we know Cad Bane, Embo, and "Rako" survive, so that leaves nine, but Bunduga or whatever dies, so eight are left, and someone mentioned Darrown was alive, so seven left...

 

I can see Embo biting it... again.

 

Sounds like a filler episode, but potentially a very cool filler episode.

I think Obiwan lives....though since TCW isn't so strict with canon, then you never know.

Actually it would be an amazing twist if Obiwan did ACTUALLY die. Then TCW would become an AU, and therefore an alternate timeline. That could explain SO MUCH. It would explain why Anakin had an apprentice, but she was NEVER mentioned in ROTS. The reason is ROTS Anakin never had Ahsoka as his apprentice.

This would also clear up the whole Anakin vs Dooku duels, with the dilogue in ROTS. If you watch ROTS, the scene between Obiwan and Anakin, and Dooku, the dilogue ("my powers have doubled since the last time we met count" as just one example) heavily imply this is their second time fighting Dooku. So ROTS Obiwan and Anakin never actually encounterd Dooku multiple times during the Clone Wars, that was there alternate versions, aka TCW Obiwan and Anakin.

Im sure there are plenty more things that clash with what was seen in ROTS and what was shown in TCW. But i do believe the whole TCW being in an Alternate universe/timeline would fix alot of issues people have with the show (don't worry Grivious's character hasn't been butchered, only TCW Grivious has, not the original one).

 

The amount of issues the TCW has with the movies have been clearly overblown.

For example, Anakin facing Dooku. There is nothing in ROTS that suggest that they only met twice, or even Anakin having an apprentice, there is nothing that says he couldn't. Making TCW an alternate version is a stupid idea IMO and just reeks of throwing a bone to continutiy buffs who are a small minority of the fanbase. The show needs to continue what it has been doing the past month or so and expand on the movies and character relationships with arcs like Umbra and now this.

 

My money's on Hardeen, Bane, and Embo making it out of The Box.

 

Why am I reminded of that movie Cube?

 

Without having read the synopsis, my first thought when I saw that picture was 'Saw'.

How cool, would that be?

Nah, let's wait til the Maul arc and have Anakin slaughtered by Maul, dying in Obi-Wan's arms, maybe.

 

The sheer idea TCW being an AU is so stupid. No offense.

Besides Obi, Embo and Bane making it out, I'm sure we'll get at least one or two other bounty hunters that make it out. Toad probably will be one because of the insane character design.

 

You should find a way to mesh TCW with everything else then.

 

Because it is the movie Cube? But done in Clone Wars animation. I appreciate the occasional nod to cinema, but this episode is triggering my "remake" alarm. Hopefully they make something new of it.

 

I am going to cry if we get hologram Dooku on his home planet.

Y'know, Dooku could be chilling on some tropical planet for a month, drinking Cristal, and his pre-recorded holograms are keeping everyone in line.
