It's less who I "think" it is than fear it is - a Jedi, down on the ground, defended by another - Jedi Punching Bag Kenobi. After all "we all know" :p :_|he's far too often shown to be incapable of a decent defense. TCW is brainwashing me to believe a downed Jedi has to be Obi-Wan.

Anakin's hair is spikier in the back than the person in the photo. My guess is it's just a random civilian.

You're suggesting that she would do something with the Rebellion. If not, then what "missed opportunity" are you suggesting then?

as far as canon goes, I respect the EU, ALL the EU. Marvel, Dark Horse, Bantam, Del Rey. But even in its infancy back in the days of the initial Zhan Trilogy hardcovers, I understood them as being an optional continuity. I was happy to have further adventures. But always looked at it from a "What If" point of view. It's lucas's universe, what he says, goes. It doesn't matter if Evan Piel was taken out by Clone Troopers in Coruscant Knights. If Lucas didn't personally OK it, it was naught but a midsummers night dream. Sorry guys, thats how it goes. Greedo shot first. Anakin appears as his younger self as a force ghost at the end of ROTJ, Boba Fett still screams like a girl and is bested by a blind guy with a stick. Its an imperfect fictional universe. Its fiction, I dont let myself get too worked up if the majority of it is good. And Clone Wars is till one of the best parts of the SW canon.

That said, I'm really looking forward to this season. Let the Sithing begin.

And how is a completely pointless retcon to make Savage look formidable suddenly make a opportunity?

And what does Ahsoka even have to do with this episode here called "Revival"?

Her "revival" in Mortis, of course...

A place where Ahsoka haters can express their rage against all things Ahsoka

But i love her because I'm not racist

Besides that, I'm very excited for season 5 :D

I see what you did there. I supposed Maul could still turn out to be some sort of trick by the Son and the Daughter could awaken within Ahsoka. =b

...but that's nothing we should be seeing in the episode called "Revival".

    Always. =D

Honestly I think I get why it is what it is. This all goes back to TCW's failure to introduce enough original characters and reuse them.

When you think of characters available to kill off who would have some meaning to Obi-wan, if you let who died in the EU dictate there are none available. They just aren't going to throw Ahsoka away on this, Eeth Koth has never really done a thing with Obi-wan, and this green Twi'lek Jedi who the Wook calls Finn Ertay appears to be a TCW OC who has never even had a speaking roll as far as I can recall so that's worth even less. I don't think they are intending to kill off a Council Member just to make Savage look badass.

This is really about giving Obi-wan something to struggle with.

Its a callback to "Grievous Intrigue". Adi Gallia saved his life there (twice with "Citadel Rescue" counted)

They are intending to put Obi-wan though a real strict test this season and this is the start of it. Its a really good sign for some linear story telling to come within TCW. Cheers to that!

Yeah, Obi-Wan got off so easy in previous seasons, he was just coasting along. Get to work, Kenobi! :p

Last season was the season of physical beatings for Obi-wan. This season is the season of mental abuse for Kenobi. =b

I don't disagree with you, but I hate when you put it like that. Because its true. I really, really like the guy, and I hate seeing his character go through so much hell. It really is no wonder that he decided to live alone in the desert. Poor guy. He could have gone anywhere in the galaxy, but he stayed on Tatooine for Luke, his bff's kid. Kenobi's a good guy. My absolute favorite part of this show is the Anakin/Obi bromance. Does anyone know if Anakin will be in Revival, besides the final scene in Palpatine's office?

I like Obi-wan as well, but I won't mind seeing him struggle like is bound to happen in season 5. Some good really personal inner struggles make characters more interesting to me.

Isn't that Anakin who is keeled over in the screenshot with Savage crossing sabers with Finn Ertay?

Oh, I love Obi-Wan and love the personal struggles, but it would be nice to see him actually succeed at some of these struggles. :)

Rather that it becoming some sort of strange torture porn, or the journey into sainthood or something.

I used to think Yoda and Obi-Wan disappeared and became Jedi Ghosts because they were basically Jedi "saints", after all they've been through. [face_praying]

    No its not.

Even though he'll probably go through hell before he gets to that point. As long as they make it interesting and expand further upon his character and give him more depth I'll be happy. If he has to get beat-up along the way then so be it. I'll live with it... if I don't like it I can always write fanfiction and alter it :p
