"He who faces himself, finds himself."

We all know that lightsabers are awesome. But where do they come from? Ahsoka escorts a group of younglings to Ilum, where they will learn from Yoda and undergo a crucial rite of passage: the construction of their lightsabers. They grapple with both physical and inner challenges as they face the dangerous task ahead of them.

I think those kids look super cute. I hope they don't turn out to be super annoying.

They will probably be annoying and they do look pretty cute. But at least it will be nice to finally see a wookiee youngling.

I don't really know what to expect from them since they are Jedi younglings. I'm not expects brats.

Weird question. What do you think the genders are on some of the alien kids? I'm having a hard time deciding. All of them look like girls to me.

I think the wookiee, human and the nautolan are males and the others are females.

The nautolan definately looks like a girl to me. Particularly in the image on the OS. The image has me humming the old Space Cases theme for some reason. It would be totally badass if Walter Jones was a guest voice in this arc.

According to the episode guide this was produced as episode 422, I guess that makes it likely that the Clovis trillogy was produced inbetween this and Onderon(4.15-4.18), and that the Shadow Conspiracy arc was the first one produced after the Young Jedi arc.

I posted this on the other forum, but Revival was made after this arc as 4.26, with the 3 remaining Mauldalore episodes being 5.01 - 5.03, and then the droid arc. :)

How do you know they are 5.01-5.03 and not 4.27-4.29(not that I think theres a 4.27-4.29)?

TCW Production Numbers alwas goes from 01 -26 for each Season. Because of the 4 part arc/Pilot Movie+First Season 22 Episodes. I think thats because of the used EDP or something.

Well its common knowledge that the seasons are made of 26 episodes, and a while ago concept art from those episodes were shown at Celebration, and I looked at the production numbers :)

To be fair, no it isn't. With 22 episodes aired per season, nobody lacking knowledge of what goes on behind the scenes would naturally assume that there are 26 episodes made per season that can be radically re-organized to air in the following season.

I am just happy that in this episode Yoda is not his lazy Couch Potato-self...

In the clip he reminds me of the OT.

The first taste of Disney Star Wars. Appropriate that this arc would be moved up in the season to coincide with the announcement.

I doubt it has anything to do with that. This arc was being created two years ago for sure...

BUT maybe they want to show Disney that TCW has Disney qualities...

Im pretty well informed about the show in genneral, but I wasnt aware that 26 episodes for each production season was set in stone.

Well, I actually knew nothing of a 26 episode production season until it just got mentioned in this thread and then I started looking at production numbers and how wildly unorganized they are even across seasons, with all S5 episodes so far have S4 production numbers. I don't know about 26 being set in stone. It might be typical for a TCW season, if that's how they chose to do it. But I get the impression that for any show it typically ranges from 20-26.

Looks like a good episode. Is it going to be a 4 episode arc again?
