I am really suprised that i am enjoying these youngling episodes.
This arc is easily in my top 5, and the conclusion will be as enthralling as it will be sad. I really hope these characters show up again - I like them quite a bit, they're quirky, they're sharp, and they're likable in very distinct ways.
The Mandalore Trilogy
Young Jedi Arc
Domino Squad Trilogy
And I must say, Christian Taylor is doing a magnificent job with this arc, the circus could have easily been a disaster, kudos to him and the other writers for pulling it off.
This episode reminded me of bugs life. I was pleased to see Greivous and I liked his brief duel with Obi Wan.
I'd rearrange the top 5 a little, no offense my friend but I agree with you on everything else. -fist bump.- I hope these kids show up again although I gotta be honest I fear for them alot now. Well that goes without saying, the futures bad either way. But I'm not so certain they'll be around that long anymore.
i think i would add the Rako Hardeen arc to the list as well
I have to admit, I was a little skeptical at first, but this episode really won me over.
I mean, I started out by thinking: "You know, I'm a little tired of the Jedi Babies, and Hondo really is kind of out of character here, and I really wish they'd get back to Anakin, who they've kind of been giving short shrift to lately".
But then I saw that the episode featured Ahsoka in bondage, and immediately I found myself thinking: "This is the best arc ever!"
I am lost for words!
It makes me wonder why Obi-Wan helped Hondo in "Revival" and not just hunt Maul and Savage.
Also, there was a small inaccuracy in the Clone Wars Roundtable podcast about this episode. Jimmy Mac said we'd never seen a circus in the Star Wars universe before. But, of course, we actually have:
That's OK, Jim - I totally understand blocking this out of your memory.
Oh yeah I forgot that one But he was not fighting the Republic...
TRUE! TCW or Lucas does not like to make the Republic to lose from Grievous. Young Jedi was the opposite!
Then the depths of the internet should be your oyster.
So wait... a mysterious bidder wanted to buy a specifically female Jedi?
It sounds a bit like he wanted to subject her to Order 69.
I just knew something like this was on the way.
Particularly when thinking it was Grievous coming all along. x.x;
Damn necrophiliac paedophiles with fetishes for Force-sensitives...
The SW equiv to tentacles and school girls, huh?
That aspect of it didn't surprise me all that much. In a galaxy where slavery of all kinds is rampant, someone like that would be par for the course. My WTF moment was when Hondo said the guy didn't care if the Jedi was dead or alive.
I am no longer ashamed to say that this was not only the best episode of S5 so far but I'd put in the top 10 of the entire series.
Sounds like karma biting doesn't it? Hondo tries to actively sell a 15 year old girl and ends up with Dooku deciding this is a good opportunity to do a knock-knock joke with Grievous and his army.
Well when a cyborg loves a dead girl...
